Hello Fellow Warframers,

Recently I have created a topick about game crashes for whatever reasons. Crashes so hard that freezes all pc or ♥♥♥♥♥ up entirely my first monitor.
Today had a crash again, but not a hard one. I managed to reinstall my drivers and issue resolved itself. Also I have found old topicks, back from 2015 and 2019 about similar issues the link is

Does not looks like DE cares about these issues. So, maybe someone knows how to fix it?

My guess for now, that crases happes when you alt+tab from game and back in. When I just play in full screen seems to be ok.

To prevent some additional qustions and guesses it is not a hardware issue. Does not happen in any other games or synthetick tests at full load. Warframe does not even fully utilize my gpu in 2k 144fps.

PC config:
Ryzen r7600x
Rxt 4070ti
32gb ddr5 6000mhz
ssd

Any suggestions, or similar cases would be nice.

I have updated to win 11 and the problem seems to be fixed. At least for now.

Maybe not directly related but I am experiencing also a lot of performance issues.
And I haven an 4090.
A a duvini run Warframe broke and my fps went down to 36!

Maybe it's the RTX 40XX series? Because I'm not experiencing any issues with my RTX 3070.

in any case it can not be a series, if, then it is the driver. Your assumptions would mean that the cards have problems, which does not make sense, cause every other game works fine with them.

Judging by your experiences, that driver was probably what caused my PC to die on me recently. Got in Warframe for a couple minutes before my PC froze, screen went black, and GPU started whirring at full speed. Repeated that a couple times and woopdedoo, PC just wouldn't start anymore. Never happened before until that fateful day.

Was running a RTX3080.

Tought this was gonna be a vent, but I guess this may as well be a word of warning for those who encounter similar issues.

It has to do something with drivers. Not quite sure what.
If you expirience the same issue I can suggest a clen windows install or upgrading to win 11.

Win 11 solved the problem for me. I have been playing for 3 days since win 11 update with no issues. Multiple sessions solo and coop for 4+ hours.

Well, today got the same issue again. When I tried grind with the podcast on the second monitor. Not quite sure what is the problem now. I am afraid I will have to quit if it will happen again.
Not a fun expirience to get hard freezes.

Possibly RAM issue, try swapping out your memory chip?

Or you might need to do the hard way: swapping out your hardware one by one, starting from the most stable build you knew.

Ryzen has some issues in the past too afaik.

I have the game on another account and it refuses to start on my 4090. I believe there is something wrong with the 4000 series cards not being able to play certain games.

Did that caching resize thingy in the launcher and now my fps is better significantely!
Still not what I wish it to be but still its ~200fps
