Are there bots in trade chat or something?
I see the same few people or "bots" saying WTB this or that I tell them invite have this or that and they dont invite or say anything. Thinking ok maybe they have all they want, nope they type in the same exact WTB message on trade chat and I say once again hey I have what you want invite.

So are these bots or what cause they sure feel like it. Are they maybe trying to manipulate trade chat some how cause that kind of came to mind. Enough people see the same message of something costing a certain price new players may see and think thats the norm, idk.

Some bigger trader clans or players tend to gravitate to having "trading accounts" while they have playing accounts and in the past did do something like posting copy pasted offers every so often with the trading accounts while they played or watched Youtube - whatever works - so those players tended to have poor response time if nothing else. Now, is that against the rules? Intent yeah, probably but if they don't interact with the main account generally DE has let it slide in the past.

There was a clan that had problems about that, most of their users had similar names; can't remember what it was right now, but there was something of a crack down on some of the more active ones a few founders even I think, since most of the clan was just alt accounts that ran with the real ones. They used to be very active trading but who knows what those players are doing these days?

then what is it dude thats what I'm asking. Stay focused? These people that type like they're bots dont ever say anything back but have the same bot comments in trade chat.

and not only that but they're asking to buy rivens for super cheap. I didnt care to sell my riven that cheap I just wanted plat quick for slots.

If someone is trying to sell, a lot of people can answer, they are not going to say that they are busy to everyone. For buying orders, exactly the same.
Use Warframe.market to have less of a hassle.

so I can see how that would be a thing but why message on trade chat again when you already have all those people who wanted to sell their rivens to you. You see how that doesnt make sense? I'm not gonna post another comment when I already have a list of people that already pm'd me they wanna sell. 4 times I already I pm'd this person after seeing their post of wanting to buy rivens.

and WF market can also be a hassle. 4 out of 5 people on WF market are listed as online and they either arent or the same problem of them not replying back.

Deal with it, it is just the way it is. You wanna trade?. That is how it works in Warframe.

Jesus effing christ, was it that hard to reply back to someone that pm'd you 5 times?

After harassing the guy for the 5th time they said they were looking for full trades only.

Deal with it. Warframe in a big nutshell.

I'm sure there are bots. I see people spamming a paragraph's worth of items they want to sell or buy. But then when you try to contact them for one of the items, you never get a response. If they're busy or afk, they would not be constantly spamming postings.

Exactly. I just blocked these people instead cause its annoying seeing these same posts on trade chat when they never say anything.

And its not like this person was giving a fair deal. Like I said I just wanted quick plat and that was the first person I saw.

BUT as Saint said, it is what it is. They're not doing anything but congesting the traffic in trade chat and other chat sections. But theres literally nothing we can do since they're not doing anything wrong.

dude you always impress me with your replies. I didnt consider any of this and it makes sense. And I do remember a very old youtuber getting in trouble for something similar. Wont speak his name cause I remember devs would ban you for even bringing him up.

Idk why these people do this but like Saint said it is what it is deal with it. It sucks but yea they're not doing anything wrong technically.

Too many people, selling too many stuff in many different ways. I mean, back in the day we had less stuff to sell, today it is so cluttered, people can get extremely frustrated.

It seems like its people just not paying attention like Drago said. When I've been bored I see twitch streamers play warframe and they would just not be paying attention to the game cause they're talking to their viewers. Its a bit annoying cause they be doing a mission and its these type of people that slow the mission down.

Again they're not doing anything to break the rules or anything, its annoying but it is what it is and we just gotta deal with it.

I was looking for answers about this and I perfectly got it. Just needed perspective from others.
This is just me but when I'm distracted or have an emergency of any kind I will log off warframe or leave a mission to not afk and bring down others. I cant expect everyone to have the same etiquette tho. Everyone is different and yea.
Just my opinion, but warframe trading is some of the worst human interactions I ever had. When people arent overpricing things, they auto mute or highball, or simply dont reply and when they do reply, maybe a 3rd of the users dont have a trade station and need a dojo or will insult and leave. Not to mention some users can have bad platinum which is on the accepted party will be held negligible for missing or lost plat, and have a potential locked account. You literally need the use of a 3rd party trader site to find people with a functioning understanding of the trade values, and that is silly. All of this is silly. Trade in warframe is silly.

You know that thing about trading bad plat, that just occurred to me. How in the hell does DE not know who are the ones with bad plat or whatever but knows what shady stuff one is doing? They track our progress right or can check all that stuff?
On ps4 I had a friend that got banned. He pm'd me saying hey guys I got banned for, I forgot what it was he said he did. But DE is able to track stuff like what shady stuff a player is doing like exploiting some trick but not someone that has these bad plat or other stuff?

Its just not adding up. About 4 years ago too on pc they sent me an in game message saying they found suspicious activity on my account. I pm'd them on the warframe site telling them I got this message. They didnt even tell me what was going on just that it was a mistake and all is good. Are they constantly monitoring what we do to be able to ban people like that or suspect someone of something?

That means someone at DE at one point looked into my account or something right? Idk man, Idk how any of that works. I have heard all the horror stories of people being banned for no reason too.

Many like to say "oh well theres something they're not saying" No no even DE has admitted it was a mistake on their part in the past. Not everyone is doing shady stuff.
