Is there a tutorial for railjack?
I just got one so I could do the quest to get the warframe from it and I keep failing the first mission. I honest to god have no idea wtf is going on. My opinion of this mode seems pretty negative atm because there is literally no intuitive part of this.

you get out of the seat (pretty sure) the same way you get out of every other interactable object (turrets, k-drives, archwing etc.), by pressing the same key you used to enter it?

also if you dont want to play with others you gotta set the game/lobby to private, like you would with any other mission type (top left of the screen before you are in a mission)
i have interact set with E and it doesn't work.
its not the interact key, try pressing x or c, railjack has it own control scheme, you can check your key bindings for dismount

warframe has dumb default controls for various things, railjack, gear wheel, interact, and melee

and host has full control of when the railjack leaves a mission with the navigation orb thing by the pilots seat, and if you leave AFTER the game says mission complete you will keep your loot if you arent the host

omfg this mode is bad. it just seems like you take pilot you get locked in(to any seat you're in), some rando people can apparently just join free flight because ya know, why not. then they can hold you hostage and not let you leave. how is this a mode in a live service game. my mind blown rn.

The 'so called' tutorial quest for the 'RailCrap'*Errm*RailJack (RJ) is the Call of the Tempestaari quest. But since many times Digital Extremes' (DE) kind of flops hard in their introducing new game mechanic tutorials, that's why I suggest you to go be creative before approaching that quest and read this before jumping into that bandwagon completelly blindfolded. :winter2019happybulb:

Sort of summing up: Sincce the game rarely forces you to do the new quests, you can be proactive and creative before planning your approach into those new game mechanics and find ways to ease those 1st experiences so that they aren't so frustrating for being a completelly new game mode / thing. :baa:

if you can manage to add just a few points in command then you can buy an AI pilot (gunner) and that first mission (well most missions) are very simple solo, just fly and shoot and your gunner will clear up. Thus earning you more points for skills and so on.

You will still have to use the arty gun yourself though , or board the enemy ship yourself.
But at first you have 2 arty shots , it only takes one to kill the enemy cruiser each. and mostly you only face 2 .

1) Solo.
2) Sigma Mk III gear is enough to do everything, purchase from Dojo
3) Command Intrinsic, get your AI crew, 1 Engy, 2 gunners
4) To leave, there is a Navigation console right behind the Pilot's chair, use that to go back to the Dojo/Relay station

Press your Interact key to leave the seat.
Check your keybinds to make sure that you are pressing the correct button. Personally, I have my Interact key bound to [X] because I use [E] for weapon switching.

And yes, I jump using [F]
Sprint with [Space]
Quick Melee with [G]

But hey, those keybinds works for me.

if you don't even know how get out of the pilot seat then there is not much we can do for you, surprising you made it to railjack nodes if you can't do basic actions lol.

dispite what some might say, railjack is the best method for relic cracking, expesaly on survivals. since you can have one person collect the reactant and it gives it to everyone. not only that, but the bonuses from survival relics dont vanish just because you extracted... they stay and stack till you go back to the drydock.
archwing itself can use a bit more love... and alot more mods.... but still, railjack has its uses that make it good
