The best stat-stick/augments for Excals Exalted Blade?

Ceramic Dagger Incarnon? That doesn't benefit it right? If so, how?
Also, sentinels, beast, ect?

Looking for something more passive. Not where i have to constantly keep switching to other things, and defiantly NOT the operator.

Currently, my excal's blade/4th can oneshot steel path mobs up to 10 minutes in. But i feel like i can squeeze some more juice out of it. after that, it starts to struggle/and decline in its killing efficiency.

Im at 406 power, But i only have 2 talforge crimson ability-shards in. I still got 15% left on the table. Thats the only way i know of increasing it further, but wondering if im missing something? How can i increase the damage further, in a passive way. Heard something about gladiator mods on sentital?

Speaking about the WAVE damage, I dont think that the elemental dmg count on the madari school, so i dont use it. and use zeruik or w.e its called instead. I have roar, and warcry (love warcry the most) but should i subsume another instead?

Crit-15%
crit multiply- 2x
status- 215.7%
cold-6724.4 (113.5% chance)
corrosive-6051.9 (102.2% chance)
total- 12,776.3

(not looking for excal builds, but just stat-sticks to increase this current dmg can list them if you want)

His 4 doesn't use a stat stick. I would try building some crit on it though. Throw Sacrificial Steel, blood rush and crit damage on and it should be better. You could also build viral + slash so that it goes through armor instead of having to go for pure dps

You can put gladiator mods on a sentinel weapon(only melee sentinel weapon is deconstructor). It will give you the bonus as long as you have at least one gladiator mod on your melee or warframe. Copies of the mods won't count towards the bonus.

So you're saying i should just forget all about status build, and rebuild it around critical damage instead? Even knowing i kill with wave damage?

I have Sacrificial Steel, Sacrificial Pressure, Condition Overload, Primed Fury, Virulent Scourge, Vicious Frost, Organ Shatter, Molten Impact. Chromatic Blade on excalibur and then do orange/red as the energy colour for heat damage.

Nautilus is a good sentinel for melee, it has the Cordon precept that will pull enemies in and group them up.

I do have that chromatic blade on it already, status for the blade is listed above, i apply 2 effects on them with each swing. Combined that with CO+healing return, and plus archon flow, to build for Cold as one of those effects. So i can keep blind rage on excal while not having to worry about energy.

i tried substituting the cold status, for heat. I combined this with removing my umbra vit mod, and replacing it with the archon heat vit mod to deal double. Im not sure for certain, but i THINK it did more than the cold build, BUT he definitely died a lot quicker.

How do you use your 4th on excal? Melee distance or wave damage? If wave, how does yours deal red with only 50% crit? i dont see blood rush present on the list rn

Does it kill easily, even after 10 minutes of steel path?

I meant make your energy colour on excalibur orange/red since chromatic blade will add heat to your exalted blade. And it was my mistake, I forgot blood rush couldn't go on his weapon.

Ah i see! But will it add the heat to the enemy if the status chance is at a measly 15%? Is that still worth throwing elemental mods on it at that point?

But in your opinion, is Heat dmg, a better choice than corrosive in a build like that? Or in general?

As much as I like Excalibur, his 4th is trash and only noobs use it. Subsume it and use a real melee, there's not a single good reason to use his exalted when you can use a real melee which can benefit from weeping wounds and blood rush, plus you can use melee influence for AoE damage

Yeah tbh its kinda like that with all exalted weapons. No real reason to downgrade your damage and waste your energy to use them. Not to mention they cant even use riven mods. I wish they'd buff exalted weapons on all the warframes. Except burrak. lol

Problem with corrosive is that it gives only a 50% damage boost against enemies, and that's only if they have the right armour. It will do less damage if they have shields or no armour.

Viral can give you up to a 325% damage boost, starting at 100% with one stack. So it's almost always worth using viral over other elements unless you are running nourish on your warframe.

OP, just slap ability power and ability efficiency on that frame and call it a day, if you want to use exalted blade. It's not the best ability, but it'll carry you to Rhino. I'm assuming you're not very far into the game if you're still using excalibur, though I could be wrong.

He was the first frame. He's meant to bridge the gap for new players who don't understand mods or don't have good gear, so his exalted just runs on ability power. It's not meant for end game. It's not even meant for mid game. It was the "here's a free warframe, kid" deal, back when warframe tried to monetise too heavily. Back when you had to run the same mission 75 times to get any new frame for free. I did 80 zealoid prelate runs for my first mirage, BECAUSE excalibur was so bad and I was broke.
