Boar Prime > Strun Wraith after nerf ?

Boar Prime has better DPS, bigger potencial damage in one clip, same crit chance and crit damage. Only a bit longer reload. It has one mayor problem - ammo efficiency, Ammo Mutation is a must in your build, so it eats up one slot for your shotgun mods.

Is it better than nerfed Strun Wraith? Strun Wrait now only does 150 damage (instead of 190) (mostly impact).
Firerate and reload stay the same, 2.5 rounds/second , 1,5 sec reload.
DPS = 375
Damage in one clip = 1200

Meanwhile, Boar Prime was buffed up to 117 damage (mostly impact) and 5,8 rounds/second firerate.
DPS = 678,6
Damage in one clip = 1755

Accuracy is almost same: 5 for Boar Prime, 6,7 for Strun Wraith.

So, statistically, Boar Prime IS better than Strun Wraith.
What do you think? How is it in game? Please, tell me!
I dont have any of them, I registered ONE day after Survival Event ended, so I didnt get Strun Wraith :(
Now I am trying to get Boar Prime... :D

You already did the math yourself, not sure what you're looking for here.

But yes, in my personal opinion.
My Boar Prime is currently the highest DPS shotgun.
But in terms of sheer power per shot, my Tigirs claims the throne.

My Boar Prime is spec for crowd control, so it's more of the ideal shotgun.

I did the math, but I dont know how is it in game. Thats what I was asking. Maybe Boar Prime damage falloff is greater? Maybe Boar Prime hasnt got so much pellets in one shot? I was just looking in statistics. I havent tested any of them!

It's basically back to the question of - "What's the best weapon in the game"

And the answer is - There's no best weapon, it's all about how you mod your weapon, for what purpose.

To me, Strun Wraith is high on crit. But I'm not the type of person who relies on chances. I prefer pure solid damage out put.

I can't really tell you about the pellet count, since I mod every shotgun with a Hell's Chamber and etc. But what I can say is - With a max Accelerated Blast, no Ammo modifier of any kind, Boar Prime will empty out within seconds.

I've dumped multiple damage increase mod onto it, and shoved a Seeking Force (Punch through), as well as shotgun ammo mutation. The core damage boost is massive, and extremely effective at crowd control.

But in Strun Wraith wise, like I said - I don't like to leave things to chances. Side of that, to maximize Strun Wraith's potential, you'll be needing + Crit Chance, and + Crit Damage. Taking 2 precious mod slot away. Strun Wraith shots a lot slower, it's not an ideal DPS weapon.

Think -
Boar Prime as...A ♥♥♥♥ load of bullet swarming in your enemies' face.
Strun prime as...Heavy hitter, with luck.

But dont' take my word for it, since my opinion is biased towards Boar Prime.

Its OK, since I dont have any of them, and I cant even get Strun Wraith anymore.
I just need Boar Prime Reciever to make Boar Prime though. (was farming it all day on T3 MD, I even got Reaper Prime Blade)

And what you want to get will seem to drop easier that way.
