Warframe
Are there any games similar to Warframe and Destiny?
I have played Warframe for many years, but I think I should leave the game (let it go). Within those years I found so many simple (and gimmicky), but fun weapons that I fell in love with. But in the current day, or the time they first came out (looking at you, Kuva MIGHTY SEER) they are underwhelming, because they didn't get proper stats that they deserve. Those weapons (with alternate firemodes, or that recieved Kuva and Tenet variants) will never get silver branches (Incarnons). Knowing current DE, they won't buff them in any way (they will be forever forgotten, or will become meme weapons). I want Warframe to be good, but I don't hope witnessing it any time soon (I don't hope that 1999 will trully be "the next era of Warframe").

Thats why I'm interested in the game that recieves weapon balance patches and developers that don't let extreme powercreep to happen.

Any suggestion would be welcome.

Warframe is a pretty broad game.
it's a freemium(ish) third person horde shooter with a focus on abilities and builds.
What parts of that do you enjoy? Horde Shooter? The focus on builds? The synergistic ability combat? The rapid movement systems? Do you wish it were more challenging?
Depending, the games you might like will change a lot.
This is more off-brand, but...
The Vermintide Series is a first person horde fighter.
It's sort of like left for dead, except it's melee based (there's still ranged weapons) and you have classes with ultimates and a number of passives.

It's medieval, but fantasy medieval. So, duckfoot pistols, shotguns, rifles... and then a crud ton of medieval blacksmith works.
There's some automatic weapons, but nothing firing more than 8 rounds off at once iirc. ... Outside of one outlier, being a steampunk gatling gun.

There's Vermintide, Vermintide 2, and Darktide.
Darktide is the newest and is in the modern warhammer universe, but it's got a ton of freemium BS.
I recommend Vermintide 2. It's at the end of it's lifespan, but the devs still make adjustments every so often.

It also goes on sale for very cheap with most sales. I'd wait for one with it.

It's got the horde aspect down pat, and there's some interesting builds and classes to play around with. Slower though, and more melee based. There's classes built around the ranged options still, but everyone's expected to pull out a sword and do some work from time-to-time.

Finished Vermintide 2 in the past years, but thanks for the suggestion.

Well, the Incarnons went a long way to buffing underpowered guns. But they stopped releasing them for some reason. What it is, is a adapter you earn through high level gameplay that buffs older weapons and gives them a new firing mode when enough charge is accumulated. The Torid Incarnon, Latron Incarnon and Dual Toxo Incarnon are some of the best weapons in the game and before incarnons, were some of the worst.
they didn't stop releasing them. New incarnons are coming either in the next update or the 1999 update. They just take their time adding them since they can seriously change the balance and meta of the game, considering they are often better than 95% of weapons in the game.
Come to The First Descendant, interesting game play, beautiful character design, free to play, all characters, weapons, items are farm-able.

Executor? This one may need the Jade Light or a few days with an Ancient Healer and no safe words.
If multiplayer is not a hard requirement, how do you feel about the first two Borderlands games?

Didn't like both of them in the past, but could give them a second chance in the future.
