This is why I always find alternative grinds that have higher market fodder chance, so instead of grinding low chance items, I'd just grind out silver tier items off relics, sell the parts for plat, use plat to buy from the store.

It's crazy how they made a fairly decent mirror defense with a good fallback currency, then crapped all over that and made a boring one with no alternatives.

yeah and I learn time and time again, after a while they will borderline just give this stuff away, so ill just wait for that to happen.
Genuinely do not understand those that grind for it, im borderline jealous, I wish they just made it a lot harder and more fun/epic and have a higher chance for a reward.

but yeah, ill just skip that part, its purely wasting time....and braincells.

Although I guess I could watch something while this crap is running....but then still the 5% chance and I need 8 different mods.....seems like thats just a no from me.

The mode could've been tolerable but this gives me Nautilus vibes and I hate it.
Pretty much the same situation with Alchemy and tennokai mods.

yeah munio is straight up inferior to tyana pass. just a worse version of it.

The idea is not to despair, but if you have problems handling frustration you can always buy them with platinum by selling your prime junk.

do the math to figure out how long it would take you to crack relics for prime gear and be able to sell 150 plat worth , now is that time shorter than the RNG grind for the drops ? boom , voila

I always give my friends rare items that I already own, because why not?... And not long ago one of them sent me the mod pack for the tome as a gift. Be good, goodness comes back.

I usualy take huge break, and when I decide I got enough content to do, I go back, do all the new content cumulated.

I mean, I past Mr30 a long time ago, I pretty much seen everything, I can't see myself playing this nonstop everyday of the year.

doesn't mean the game is bad, but could be better in the end game for sure.

Just don't grind them all at once. Do one mirror defense every day or every few days, then do whatever is more fun for you. You will get the tome mods in time and you won't bore yourself too much.

yeah Im here since day 1 as well, but the thing is, the game used to be more fun and that is because over time with powercreep and whatever the devs have given us way too much, remember when we did not have relics but keys instead? remember how 1 person needed to have the key and they were asking for the best supporting frames to go as far as possible on the key and thus get the most out of it?
that was fun, that was a challenge, it was hard to do and rewarding for players with experience and loot to go even further.

all that is gone but im not being negative on the game as a whole here, most of it is fine if too ez but fine non the less, its just this mirror defense is so brain numbing as I said, it so extremely boring, there is just nothing you have to pay attention to, there basically is zero gameplay and you have to go back and forth between 2 points 4 times to have a 5% chance on one of the 8 mods.....its just....its just so freaking bad.

The thing about an 11 year old free to play, the entire premise is time consuming micromanagement. There is content for everyone. Just because some mechanics seem tedious for one isnt the same for another. Play what you like, Ignore what you don't. Plat and trade for what you arent willing to grind for and wait for the next patch.

Being this new after this long. Its very unattractive.
