Waframes with 30 mod slots and others with 60?

Hi I recently started playing and I've gotten a few warframes to rank 30 and noticed that some warframes have 30 mod points to use on mods while others have 60. So far excalibur and rhino have 30 and oberon/loki have 60. Why is this? Is it because the ones that have 30 have a prime version of thier self with 60?

Warframes with an Orokin Reactor installed, or weapons with an Orokin Catalyst, have double the capacity of whatever the weapon's current level is. This doubled amount is reactive, so a rank 1 weapon will have 2 capacity, and rank 30 will have 60 capacity, and all ranks in between. The reactor/catalyst cannot be removed, and is not lost when a Forma is used.

If you purchase a warframe/weapon with platinum, you get a reactor/catalyst automatically installed, and a slot in your inventory added as well.

ah well that makes sense because i bought loki and oberon, got excalibur free and made rhino

you also can get the catalysts and reactors in game just saying befor you think its only for platinum buyers

Keep your eyes on the Alerts. They sometimes have catalysts and reactor BPs as rewards.

Well, i wouldnt put things like that, bc Rhino is still a very fun frame to play, i would keep rhino for last, why? IS have the power to make people relly on that, and when changing to "weaker" frames, the lack of similar ability may need some time to adapt, since you have to play in diferent way, especially with casters.

This. I initially had difficulty switching from Rhino to Oberon and others due to relying on Iron Skin too much during my time with him. But yes, he is still fun to play, when you are playing solo and just want to feel like an unkillable force of nature.
