PC to PS4 Cross play

hey guys, im just wandering now that the ps4 and pc are now in sync can we play cross platform?

itching to play this with my friends :)

The PS4 just got U11. The PC is on U11.3.3. PC is still 3 weeks ahead of the PS4.

ohhhh my bad.. the website i found said it was possible to cross play but seeing as ps4 is still behind i guess not :)

Sorry for asking but is that even possible? Playing on PC/PS4 is still a big difference, and its not because DE wants it to happen that Sony is going to let it happen.

Well, the problem there is that you just can't play a game like this very competently with a controller no matter how good you are. So when PS4 players can play with PC players, expect the average skill level of the community to diminish substantially.

I use a controller to play this game all the time. It is more comfortable to me and i feel like in this game you can pick a mouse and keyboard for better aim, and pick a controller for better mobility. For example i like to use k and m when i use any sniper like guns, and a controller for when i focus on melee or have something like the flamethrower or rocket launcher. Plus i play this game for loot and fun...i dont want this game to turn into something like COD or BF4 or some other competitive shooter. Oh side note... it seems to me this update made the boss on Mercury harder to kill. My forma 5 Nekros at lvl 27 had a hard time going solo.... hope that DE dosent keep making it harder to farm stuff. If they keep making it take longer to farm stuff people might give up and quit. I like this game and want to see them do more but how long will it be in beta? And when its out of beta then what? Sorry didnt mean to rant....guess that last part is better for another discussion.:)

Damage 2.0 increased the enemy level compression; I think they said something about it being that level 40 in Damage 2.0= roughly level 100 in Damage 1.0...

the level compression you mentioned doesnt really have anything to do with him finding it harder to beat the first boss. the levels are TECHNICALLY the same, just drastically lowered to make alot more sense. the MAIN reason he is probably having trouble are his weapons mods. you can no longer just put on 4 elements and maxxed serration and do like 500% damage, now there are element combos, and each combo is strong and weak to a certain enemy type. he is probably using something weak to grineer
