What is Invasion?

What is the Invasion events? Right now there is one on four planets. I've got a question though..
I never really understood that Invasion green bar with the number of percent that appear when you zoom out to view all available planets.

1. What happens when the percent goes up to 100% or down to 0%?

2. When you click on an Invasion mission that reward window appear letting you know what type of resources you'll be getting. I did complete one, even two times more (7/5) but nothing happened, I didn't get my credits (it's reward). Is this a bug or what?

I'd really appreciate a response

For the Infestation invasions, the Infested will own the node until it hits 0%. When the Infested are invading a boss node, they replace that boss with Phorid, which drops parts for Nyx.

For the Corpus/Grineer invasions, whichever faction wins that battle will then control that node.

Battle Pay (the reward) is given to you through the mail system in-game when the invasion is complete. Just wait patiently for it.

You'll have to wait patiently for those rewards though, since people tend to complete faster those that have better payments, and as of now, there's only the Orokin Catalyst, and that's been going for over a day.

Oh ok, so I don't really have to do the mission over and over again? I can do stuff while waiting?

Right. Just get your 5 completions to earn the reward, and then wait for the invasion to finish. If the reward isn't given to you instantly after that, then check your in-game mail.
