That's why I never try to undersell the cheapest offer. I check prices individually and look at how easy or hard it is to obtain an item and compare between them.
I also adjust my prices dynamically (downward), if I sell at a "higher" price point and am not quick enough on the delivery, to my own standards.
.9% of the time you can get something good for a decent price
.1% of the time you get something great for a steal
most of that last 1% is in relation to rivens, though, which is pretty much the only thing I use trade chat for at this point since Market is more reliable for almost everything else
all WTS offers WILL be considered spam unless / fish
People usually use warframe market (or trade chat) to find and agree on a trade, then head back to their dojo to actually do the trade.
You can also trade at Maroo's bazaar, but... nearly no one does that.
They aren't smart.
The market site isn't endorsed by DE, so while it might seem pretty common to you, or me, or even a substantial group of people, we don't make up the vast majority of players, so sometimes trade chat will look like a ton of people simply don't know it exists.
Why waste time and patience when you can just load up the website and press 2 buttons for the best deal available at the time?
