how does matchmaking work in warframe ?

i need some help moving forward but can get any one to join my mission what am i doing wrong im still in main quest but have come to a point where i cant progress because of mission that you need to be more then one person to win

"still in main quest" which quest? Several are single player only. If it's Vor's Prize, it transitions to being online capable after getting access to the market IIRC.

There are very few cases where you must have more than one person in this game so perhaps some more granular help can be of use. What specifically are you struggling with? Is it still Spy stealth missions?

well this is like a mission you need to take over 4 towers to collect data but cant be fast to get to all of them in time all the enemies are just getting them to turn red again and thats it right im done ? or do i win if just get some data ?

well this is like a mission you need to take over 4 towers to collect data but cant be fast to get to all of them in time all the enemies are just getting them to turn red again and thats it right im done ? or do i win if just get some data ?

Interception mission type, treat it like a typical Domination gamemode in any MP shooter, except to stop enemies from capturing towers you just need to kill enemies working on the 2 terminals next to those towers, otherwise they can stand around as much as they want without any effect.

At 2 you will be gaining progress at the same speed as the enemy, so it's best to hold at least 3 points. If you don't have the damage to take out enemies on the terminals quick enough, it's okay to postpone the quest and do some regular missions for some better mods or Endo to level what mods you have.

Interceptions are generally not solo-friendly, you need area denial frames like Vauban or Khora to do them alone. What quest is the mission you're doing part of?

Moving fast on interceptions is the key. Each frame has its own basic speed which can be improved with mods like 'rush', 'sprint boost', etc or some frames have skills for it. Additionally you have to set up permanent sprint on the game options so no need to keep 'Shift' key all time. And another thing is to kill fast thou it is another topic

it is kind a too much to ask for new player to pull off Intercept really , DE really need to fix intercept mission because people only play it when it was alert or sortie, very at least reduce the com console to 2 for single player.

if 10 minutes survival is draining, then i guess you gonna hate some grind in late game, specially time gated syndicate reputation grind , Open world mining and more, new player could be very annoyed because they cant stomp enemy, but once you get decent gear, you enjoy destroying thing.
