Any advice for the helminth slot on my wisp build?
I'm trying to hammer the last few nails for my all-purpose, support-oriented Wisp build, but I'm having a hard time narrowing down the best helminth options available. Please note that I'm a rather casual player, so my knowledge about synergies, double-dips and the like is extremely limited. Treat me like I'm a toddler who can barely put 2 and 2 together. I have extensively browsed builds, but with constant patches and changes they might not be up to date.

I usually run around with high ability strenght and either Fulmin Prime or Phantasma Prime as weapons. So far I've considered the following:

-Roar: the obvious, popular choice. Boring as sin, yes. But also simple, gets the job done and it doesn't hurt too much when I forgot to cast it (which happens WAY more often that I'd like to admit.

-Nourish: While it certainly boosts damage output, I found myself putting the viral back in my weapons out of sheer lazyness, since halfway during a mission I start forgetting to turn it back up, and then my weapons become wet paper if viral is not in there from the start. I read it is highly valued for the energy recovery aspect, but I've never been energy starved with Wisp anyway.

-Eclipse: If I understand correctly, it boosts only your weapons damage, but can also be used for defense.

-Xaku: If I understand correctly, it adds a separate damage count of Void element, which should be noticeable.

-Empower: More power for the motes, and maybe to give a little extra to some breach surges? A skill that seems to be cast scarcely.

I welcome any advice or opinions on the matter, even suggestions of other valuable skills for that 4th slot. I may be able to give extra info if needed to round up the build.

Thanks everyone.

EDIT 1: Sorry if this message was supposed to be on "Players helping players" subforum. I'll move the post there if there is any issue.

Pilalage is another option assuming you're running your wisp with high str. Could also try thermal with or without the augment, use the new frostbite arcane and get bonus str+dur every time you cast cold thermal.

I tend to stick to Energized Munitions and Dispensery if I can’t think of any particularly good synergies, which I don’t know of any for Wisp in particular
I have the following setup on my wisp.

Lets start annoyingly.
Archon shards. Since it affects one build.
1 corrosive shard Tau. We dont like armor in this house. But we do like the extra dmg from corrosive.
4x Purple violet shards Tau to have Equilibrium on the build.

Weapons: Phantasma prime. (Viral as main, corrosive on alt build)
Tenet cycron. - Overguard eater deluxe. Deleter of armor ala archon shard.
Venka prime. *Angry Wolverine noises*

Now subsumes.

Eclipse. along with the augment. Which is the only downside. The modslot.
But depending on the build its easy to squeeze in. (RIP energy Nexus flex slot)
Depending whats needed, wisp can now add weapon dmg, or direct DR. Alongside her already strong HoT its a very good combo.
As others will point out, yes yes, roar is more dps bla bla. But always ignore the FACT eclipse is two skills in one.
One offensive. One defensive. AT WILL.
Can highly recommend.

Nourish. (archon shard reliant)
Like you, i do use phantasma prime as one of my two favorite main weapons.
Built for corrosive on this build rather then viral on my others, nourish adds the viral counterpart and yup. Its a leathal combo. so i can switch it on this build.
Universally working. You cant go wrong with it. Stable choise.
Can recommend for a lazy build.

Jade's Gaze. (Bassicly my replace as stuff comes along confiq, often changes subsumes)
Gloom and tharros strike in one? WHATS NOT TO LIKE. Here, while my corrosive tau shard is useless, i dont care to much as stuff dies anyway.
Can recommend, but its not the best for wisp and her kit IMO.

Fractured blast. Dispensory.
This is my, energy orb spawner builds for the team. Not so much myself on mobile missions. as well as stationary missions (Defence, netracells)
Spam blast to mark enemies while team usually kills them.
Its a snowball build. Mark the enemies to make sure allies who are energy hungry has energy to keep going with as little downtime as possible.

While dispensory is as well.. a candy machine.
Bassicly the lazy lazy builds.

Out of all these, i'd recommend Eclipse the most cause well. Its the most versatile.
I can take it into any content and it works.
Do i need dmg? i got it. Armor stripping?

So many good advices so far. I didn't even know there were other archon fragments besides red, blue and yellows (I swear everytime I learn something new about this game).

If possible, I would like to take one of the buff skills, just to give my weapons the little extra bit they need while on high level missions. So it would probably be Roar or Nourish? (Although as much as I hate to admit, Nourish boosts damage quite a bit) Eclipse sounds really good, but it only affects oneself, right?

Eclipse has an augment. (Total Eclipse) which makes it AoE.

You can merge the colours together with a segment from whispers's faction

Red+Blue=Purple
Blue+Yellow=Green
Red+Yellow=Orange

You can also do ascent fusion and turn 3 normal shards of thesame colour to an archon shard

As for eclipse; it has an augment yo make it affect other players

That sounds awesome, but using a mod slot is quite the downside.
