Dojo Sessions Questions | Discussion

I've been hopping through a few dojos to find one with a very active level of co-op sessions.

For one, how do you create a dojo session/mission?
I don't know exactly how to start one of these sessions myself, that would populate within my dojo's sessions list. Is it just a matter of changing my status to public, or is there some other mechanic involved?
Since you can join a dojo session while in private/solo mode, it would be nice to be able to open a session up to fellow dojo members, while staying in Solo mode. Is that possible?

On another point, I've noticed many sessions stay on the list, after being completed. This is the case long after the list has flashed, as having been updated. It seems this has varied a little from clan to clan, but perhaps it's not really dependent on the clan itself. Either way it's kind of a drag. I see a mission I want to jump into, change my WF or loadout, go to join it and get the message the mission has already ended, and it stays within the list for another half hour. ...or, it's showing 3 of 4 Tenno, I click to join and get the message that the mission is full, and it's keeps showing 3/4 until it clears the board.
I assume this is just the way it is, and there's nothing within the game settings that will keep the sessions list more current.

Observatory room allows you to start mission in Dojo. Hosts who started mission from Dojo will drag their entire team back into the Dojo no matter where each player joined from (Dojo or Orbiter) unless this has been changed recently.
You can set Matchmaking to "Invite Only" or "Friends Only" if you want only certain players join your mission.

If you get error "Mission has already ended" that means the first round in the mission has been completed and/or 5 minutes has passed since the beginning of the mission.

First off, thanks for the insight.

If this is true then I see two issues.
1) If for some reason it's still displayed, the message given should say "Joining no longer available.".
2) Missions unavailable of course shouldn't even be listed within available sessions ....since they are no longer available.

1) I agree. The message should be formed differently that player can understand immediately.
2) There could be many reasons that I could think of such as: Open Squads number does not update in real time, 5 minutes may be up or first round finished the moment you try to join, your PC is unable to connect to the Host for one reason or another, Ping limit in your settings does not let you join those open squads

Thanks but there's nothing wrong with my setup. I built my gaming PC up completely myself, and was only looking for *in game* options to change what I'm seeing, because I have zero issues on my side. PC, internet, etc. This is all optimized.

As I said earlier, the list flashes, taking me back to the top of the list, every few seconds, so I know the session list is updating, but many missions that should clear are not doing so.
"This mission has ended." "This mission is full." "The mission can't be found."
It's not all of them. I join several missions a day in this way, but the ones that aren't available are a real pain, because as I said, you kit up for something happening, only to find that it's not available, and is still shown 30 minutes later.

I guess it's just the way it is.
