Sure have fun against a third of the bosses with melee bound to mouse 1
You still shoot with Mouse button 1 just press E again to get rid of melee or zooming should auto bring up your 1st or last slotted range weapon IE you still use E to switch to blade but mouse 1 to attack which just flows better. Nothing changes about how you shoot any range just makes it much easier to use a melee build without cramping your left hand to ♥♥♥♥.
Oh they might have reworked the keybind options after the quick melee rework
Could take that for a spin for a couple of missions to see if it'd work out for me
Though I mostly play only guns anyways so for me it's pretty redundant to minmax melee inputs that much
Im used to E and it works fine for me.
I accidentally tried this too, because probably it's set to be up by default, and it simply prevents you from using the primary and secondary weapons after fine homing to fire a Glaive (which still is somewhat borked up when trying to use its stances it still always gets stuck somewhere along the way).
I'm definitelly not a fan of this change and since it has been brought to my attention (with this thread) I'll try to swiftly find the "option" to disable it.
