Relatar um problema com a tradução
I mean from what I could tell it's something between a Boltor and a Latron, but either Prime version of those outperforms the Attica.
If you like it, however, there's nothing wrong with that. In the end its all personal preference. But for endgame? Nope, I think it's safe to say the Attica doesn't perform well at all.
Meh, sounds like my first impressions were kinda wrong again and i'm better off sticking with my Latron and keeping an eye out for something else.
I loved it even back when it was awful since it looked a lot like Van Helsing's auto-crossbow, but as I said, it's pretty good now. Projectiles DO have a travel time though, so keep that in mind.
try mirage + attaica's with thunderbolt = death of enemies
Moreless thunderbolt makes it better CC and dealing with groups
Which is a shame because I do find the weapon fun to use. Maybe if they tripled the damage of each shot it would be considered a viable late game weapon but right now it's very mediocre and even worse with the Thundebolt mod later on.
However, it kills things for a pretty long time on T4. At least mine does. It is a weapon that will need forma's due to it's lack of polarities, but that's the case with most Clantech weapons.
true
I wish more people knew about the facts of the Thunderbolt mod. But given the number of people here who have suggested that it's a good mod for the Attica, I think it's fair to say that a lot of people don't know about its limitations.
As for the Attica being good in a T4, well, early on maybe. It's not a horrible weapon exactly and the DPS is decent. The problem comes in with the slow projectile speed making headshots very difficult as well as the short clip with a long reload time. Basically, there's a lot of weapons that are just objectively better than the Attica for late game content and for me, that makes it hard to pick a weapon that I know is flat out inferior.
Edit:
As a side note, I'd love to see something like an Attica Prime that bumps its damage up to something like 250 to give it a higher DPS than any other rifle. This would of course be balanced out by its limitations mentioned above so that we'd be left with a weapon that would not only be well balanced and totally viable late game, but also add some diversity to the list of good high tier weapons.
And see, this is something people always tell me, but yes, there are objectively better weapons that are also much more suited for, say, hour long T4 runs, but here's the thing. If you know you're going to go an hour, you most likely already have a set up using those more powerful weapons. For anything else, what purpose would it serve to bring the most OP weapons around? Perhaps it's just me, but it's awfully boring when I bring gear suited for level 80s and I'm fighting level 30s. Perhaps, take a step outside of DPS building and have a little fun. If you've got a weapon which you enjoyed, you liked the concept but couldn't accept the damage, why do you not just forma it and make it stronger? Sure, you'd never take it to those super long T4 runs, but it being a mid level weapon hardly does anything to influence your decision. You'd still bring your usual stuff and go on with it. Why not create weapons that are more fun and can still deal with most of the content in the game? Accept that they're not there to replace your prized Boltor Primes, Dragon Nikanas, Synoid Gammacors and Soma Primes. Use them accordingly and have fun with it.
Take half my weapon inventory, for example. If I were to only judge a weapon's value soley on it's damage output, I wouldn't own 72 different weapons. I'd only own the top 5 and never switch out. But that's not how I judge a weapon's value. I judge based on how fun it is, how creative I can get with it, and if it's still capable on, say, 40 minutes or less on T4.
I own weapons like the Lato, Dera, Dark Dagger, Attica, Braton. Are they worthy of an hour long T4 survival run? Hell no. Are they fun to use and worthy of maybe half an hour on a T4S run after a forma or two? Hell yes. Using mediocre weapons to bring up to a more powerful status, in my opinion, is pretty fun. It also serves as a good time and resource sink, as DE continuously fails to add some real end game content.
