able to drop weapons?

I was in a couple of games and noticed after I mashed my keyboard that I had dropped my secondary on the floor and I saw that someone dropped their primary on the floor. I was able to pick my weapon back up and I had an option to pick up the other person's weapon. What button is used to drop the weapon or is this a bug? Also the weapon had an objective icon over it and on the map.

What's more annoying is that it drops your weapon down to unranked.

yeah the drahk master well they fix it so your wapon stop being pick at unranked and they become priority 1 when i see them.Even the stalker is not #1 when they are near me

pretty sure they can't take your melee. But they can definitely take your secondary.

I heard that you are capable of doing that, someone in the comments of the Halikar wiki page said they stole the Stalker's Despair.
Of course, it doesn't really matter since unranked weapons are ♥♥♥♥.
