If you are able to find a good clan then immediatly after Rhino you'll be able to get Volt/Banshee (Zephyr is not on the list because of oxium requirement). Next one of the list are probably Mag and then Oberon. Oberon, being drop from Eximus units kinda gets passively collected while you play. All other frames require more work to get them.
So probably this congo line will look like this:
Rhino->if (part of clan) {then Volt/Banshee}, if not {then skip} ->Mag->Oberon.
As for frames, the first one you could build is Rhino, his parts drop from Jackal, and although he is good for a newbie, he's more of a crutch. Honestly after you get a few weapons you can easily go from your starter frame, to a prime if you wanted with almost no hassle. I went from Excalibur to Frost Prime.
I'd say the hardest one to get is vauban, and only because the way to get it is through daily rewards.
Hydroid is much easier to get then Chroma, but he's also considerably weaker. In fact, he's one of the weakest frames in game.
Chroma is powerful, but he's quite finnicky to get. You need to complete Stolen Dreams first, then The New Strange, he also requires almost double the resources then any frame currently in game to build and about twice the time to construct. Not to mention, he's plays like piano and his builds require understanding of how he works.
You buy some frames, get some weapons, and several hundrend hours later youll realize you could have just made it all, and are now lacking stuff to farm for, which is a huge aspect of this game, sinces its more or less a co-op gear collection game.
Also getting Rhino and youll have a frame good for everything and can worry about farming some quality weapons, which is really important.
I actually stopped playing the game a while back because i reached a point where i felt i had just about everything in game, and was able to do quite well in the survival and defense games.
