Multiplayer dead?

I'm been trying to join multiplayer/public servers or missions for about a while now and I always find empty lobbies.
I really need help on defending bombs-like missions and every time I try to go on Public servers it shows "WAITING FOR PLAYERS" and no one joins.

That just mean no one play on that mission, since most of player would go for the area that worth more for their time.

The problem is that there are waaaaay too many nodes and at the same time there's absolutely no incentive for players to play about 95% of them ever again after their innitial run through to unlock all nodes on a planet.

Warframe has more players on average than ever these days but they are not evenly distributed over all nodes. Veteran players flock to void missions and certain nodes that bring the most loot in relation to time and effort needed to go through them while the new players tend to concentrate around the easy starter planets. All planets and nodes inbetween are, unfortunately, a wasteland.

For the time being your best bet to get through the middle planets is to either join a newbie-friendly clan and team up with other new players in there or you ask in the appropriate ingame chat channel for players who would like to team up with you to run through some nodes on an empty planet.


But I can tell you that the devs have already announced that they are working on an overhaul of the map and mission system. Not much is known about it but they have said the number of nodes will be drastically reduced. They have said that the rework will is scheduled for patch 17. Without an ETA on when update 17 is going to hit the live server, of course.

'cuz who gives rat ass bout lags when you can keep dodging MUCH easier WITH lags.. just hitting with extreme lags might get .. tricky. inb4powershowdown.

agree with ranting ... some are happy to help out players who are struggling to clear systems if they ask (just us region not recruiting ... everybody does). It might take a little while but you will usually get some help with a planet or two, especially if you say you are happy to go reasonably quick. It can be a little frustrating when you go to help out and somebody is opening every locker trying to farm plastids (my day yesterday). I can use the time to level a crap weapon or something, but I need to be killing and closing.

... anyhoo, best of luck. A clan is probably your best bet, and just make it clear what you are looking for and you should find it reasonably easily.

I would suggest you join a clan. This will give you a better chance of finding a full group to play with. Go to the recruitment section on the offical forum here[forums.warframe.com].

The types of clan you can join are:

Ghost clan – 10 members
Shadow clan – 30 members
Storm clan – 100 members
Mountain clan – 300 members
Moon clan – 1000 members

You can choose from clans that have just a few members or a lot of members. So have a look at the clans & see if there are any that you would like to join.
