The New Yareli Skin

It is the ugliest thing I have ever seen, at least in regards for it to fit Yareli. Nothing about its design fits her asethetic or appearance, it completely changes her body shape to making her much wider at the stomach, hips and shoulders. This makes it so all of her other helmets are WAY too small to even look appropriate on her new deluxe skin.

This deluxe skin feels like it's not for Yareli, nothing about it says cutesy surfer. All five of us Yareli mains are probably very disappointed.

for once it's a skin that looks different, I like it.
when it's too similar to a prime version, or to the base frame, it's just boring, or not worth the price imo.

Yup. Looks way more fitting for jellyfish/frog Ivara... Not for Yareli.

But then again, remember that horrible "monster face" delux skin for Octavia, which has absolutely NO connection to her theme, which is... MUSIC? :D Yeaaaaahhh...

DE have put out some real garbage skins over the years, but when a Deluxe looks worse than the base frame you know you dun fudged it.

So what you mean is that you just don't like Deluxe skins lol. Your subjective distaste doesn't equate to objective quality/lack of.

The whole point is that they look different/unique. Not just like a reskin of the original.

Of those I mentioned, 4 are basically just reskins with minor differences.

Nyx Nemesis is literally just taken from Dark Sector (as is Excalibur Proto). The only reason I didn't list Volt and Excal Proto is because I actually use those skins for my Volt and Excal... though honestly mostly just because those guys lacked decent skins for a long time and even since Zato came out, I've stuck to my ancient Excal appearance.

Loki Knave is basically a reskin, Orphid is too, Gersemi is notorious for being garbage - I have never seen anyone use that skin. Soprana some people liked, but I thought it was just barely different to the normal skin, and worse than prime. Nova Asuri can be made to work if you don't equip the helmet.

These are all skins that were pretty commonly deemed to be ugly / disappointing compared to other deluxes.

You compare to some more decent ones:

- Protea Caladrius
- Xaku Kagura
- Gara Kaleida
- Khora Urushu
- Harrow Reliquary
- Ivara Skathi
- Mesa Presidio
- Nova Atomica
- Nezha Empyrean

And more. These are skins that managed to make a completely new aesthetic that actually was decent.

None of her helmets fit on the new body, her head is like weirdly small and the material's don't seem to match either.

Going by history of how beauty standards have completely changed. This is entirely untrue and based on how you were raised and the society you live in. Don't try to argue history because people disagree with you.
