And tips for getting platinum?

Hey guys. I'm new to this game and I was wondering if you guys had any tips for getting platinum. Also why does it say 12 hours on my blueprints?

Nope, they're permanent. It just means that it'll take the weapon 12hrs to finish once you've started it in the foundry.

Most things take 12 hours to build though some items like froma take longer and to build a warframe takes 3 days. Also after something ti built you don't have to claim it rigth away you can have it sit in the foundry for as long as you want which is pretty nice if you don't have enough slots for an item.

If you want plat, just play the game and get some gear to farm void missions for prime parts. Watching the market to guesstimate the current price of whatever it is you're selling works too because prices are all over the place depending on the time of day/region you're in.

Some of the discount rewards that are possible that I have seen or heard of are, 20% off (I have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ this), 25% (At least I think that was what I got.). and 75% off. If you wait for these, you can buy platinum cheap, as well as buying with steam credit.

Or you can farm prime parts/blueprints in the void and trade them to players for platinum. There are websites that will show you the usual rates for these items.

Since you are new, il go for what Guyver already said, farm prime parts and sell the sets, sometimes cheaper that the market price can rank you up quick plat, at later time if you interested in real plat that only requires time and no luck involved ( T4 survival average run grant at leat 15 rare 5 cores) is max rank 10 mods like serration or hornet strike and sell them.

Do note that maxing out things like Serration can take upwards to 100+ Fusion Cores, and 1m+ credits and thus takes you a LONG TIME.

Best and easiest way? Buy it.
The long but cheapest way? Farm Void and sell Prime parts and blueprints like everyone else. That and selling hard to obtain cards like Serrations and Event ones.

And he's right. The WFTrading prices are very outdated. Lot of people still recommend it but right now it's better just to watch Trade chat for a while to see what the average price is.

wait for this discount. When you log in each day, sometimes login reward will be platinum purchase discount.

You can make every frame, weapons by playing the game. All you need is a small amount of platinum to buy warframe slots and weapon slots.
