Borderless Fullscreen (At lower Res?)
So my pc screen is 1920x1080 at default. I play games around 1366x(i cant think of the second number rn) and that allows me to run them on highest settings. on warframe the only way i can get that resolution is if i change it from borderless full screen to full screen, and this gives me annoying black borders, is there any way to fix this and strech it out all the way?

The aspect ratio needs to remain the same as your monitor. 1920x1080 is 16:9 widescreen. If you are running the game at 1366x??? your resolution would need to be 1366x768 to retain the same aspect ratio. A different resolution will show black bars to fill in the missing information.

i know that, it still does it on all resolutions the screen will remain as 1920x1080 and the middle will be filled in.

Are you using a laptop with Optimus? If so, you probably need to change the resolution in windows itself to 1366 every time you want to play the game to get rid of the black borders.

This problem is also present in Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Renegade Ops and more. Optimus is bothersome, really.

Well, on my Optimus laptop, that game would also present black borders if I used anything but native resolution. It also had stutter (even at 60 fps) if I ran it in fullscreen. Borderless fullscreen (which I force on any problematic games) fixed the stutter. I use "HotKey Resolution Changer" and "Windowed Borderless Gaming" to "fix" problematic games. I mostly use my desktop for gaming though, not the Optimus laptop.

Also, I see that you played the Directors Cut. I only played the original on the laptop, and it may be that is issue is not present on the Directors Cut.

I know this is an old post, but I was looking for something similar and found a solution. This post was one of the first ones to still come up, so in case anyone else has the same issue and finds this. Try http://runtimeterror.com/rep/fullscreenizer/index
