Hello everyone!

First of, im not saying with this that you should not buy platinum and support Digital Extremes.
-----------------

I think that you need platinum for to much stuff, color paterns, revieves, weapon and warframe slots and cosmetics.

I understand that you need to pay platinum for weapons, warframes and body parts because you buy them and get them without using any effort. But wouldnt it be nice to be able to trade in credits for platinum like ( 1.000.000 credits for 5 platinum ).

Or being able to buy weapon and warframe slots for 5 platinum and or or 50.000 credits.

That way you can play the game with its full perks but you just have to work harder for it.
And that way people will maybe see that grinding after grinding can get boring and will spend money on the game then to get it faster and easyer.

Because i have to admit, buying platinum is expensive. I mean €/$10 for only 175 platinum, no thank you. If it was €/$ 10 for lets say 250 or 300 platinum i would say ok, but now you just spend money on a low amount.

You really should look up trading.

As far as ive seen people are kinda greedy when it comes to that.

If they made a site with the price and worth of everything like Backpack.tf it would be better maybe.
Heres a little something for you to think about.
1. When you get a 50-75% off then the platinum is actually cheap.
2. You can actually get free platinum from login rewards.
3. You can trade things and earn platinum from other players, this is something you could not do before resulting in having to buy plat.
4. A credit to platinum exchange would destroy DE, because there are players with more credits then you can believe.
5. The only things that you must spend plat on are slots, and taters. Even then if you can trade you won't have a problem.
6. http://wftrading.net/ for getting a decent picture of the ongoing price of things.

Might try that.

Thank you.

never heard of it .-.
The current conversion rate for plat to credits is around 90p to 30k credits if you buy the high roller credit bundle in the marketplace.

And even taters regularly show up as Invasion rewards and Gifts from the Lotus.
See, this is kind of the reason they don't do this. Part of it, anyway. There's only two ways it could go; either the conversion rate is so cheap that they lose business by the truckload, or it's so high as to be absurd, and they still lose business by the truckload, albeit with smaller trucks (yes, there really are people with hundreds of millions of credits). There really isn't any middle ground. I mean, your example is 1 million credits for 5 plat. When would that ever be useful? Some of the cheapest things you can get are Warframe slots (I'm not counting mats, because if that's what you're blowing your plat on, you're doing it wrong) and those are 20. So right there, you're looking at 4 million credits. Do you have any idea the kinds of things you could pick up in the void and trade in the time it'd take to build up that much? Just for a small point of reference, I'm sitting on just shy of 1500 hours in-game, and my gross income is around 35 million credits. So even with all that time, someone like me, who plays just a little above the 'casual' tag would only have had enough for a bit over 150 plat, and that's pouring absolutely every credit into it.
Also, this little bit here...

...is a little weird. If someone hates grinding so much that they flat refuse to work for the rewards, why would they then spend money to get those rewards for a game that, for the most part, is pure grind?

Not as often as they used to.

You say people are greedy in trade, but you don't even know what the parts are suppose to go for?

Wow......

There is absolutely no reason whatsoever to trade credits for Platinum.

1. Everything costs either Platinum or some amount of credits, time, and other resources. So unless you ramp up the credit:platinum ratio to some ungodly amount then all you're doing is removing the other resource requirements. May as well just have things cost credits and no resources.

2. The only thing you can get with plat that you can't get with the credits/time/resource currency are cosmetic items. Pay money for them or go without. Its that simple. All this 'buy plat with credits' stuff is just weirdly misplaced envy - most people have time to play *or* money and the current system caters to both those players - unless you have neither time, *nor* money . . . well then you're not playing the game anyway.

Wow......

'Greedy' has come to mean 'more than I want to pay or can afford'.

Like most 'fixed exchange rate' currencies - that's the fiat rate and not necessarily (and most likely far from) the market rate.

Wish that site updated more often, old stuff tends to be higher than shown as Tennos aren't actively farmign them anymore and stuff is more expensive.
