Omni Forma - What will you use them on first?
I'm struggling to decide what I should use Omni Forma on first. The tradeoff of polarisation would always make me weary of committing unless I had done a lot of testing, so this is a great addition and I'm looking forward to trying out many different high mod drain setups. I suppose the only tradeoff remaining would be whether your last Omni Forma slot should be an Umbra forma (and even then this only matters in the most extreme cases).

My first thought is to use them on my main frames (Loki/Titania/Harrow) but that's probably a waste as I've already invested the time into experimenting and figuring out my personal setups.

Curious to see what people are thinking of using them on first, before eventually having every Prime frame be all Omni'd out. I think most weapons would get away with mostly V polarities though, maybe a flex slot or 2 especially if you have Rvens.

They'll replace every slot except Umbra, as they showed in the devstream.

I would suggest watching videoes on Youtube or using the calculator at overframe.gg , so you don't keep wasting forma.

Yep which means the only choice (in terms of polarity) for a max investment player is how many Omni slots they give up for Umbral slots, if any. Probably best to leave those as blank unless it's an absolute max investment Archon thingy.

Don't get me wrong I don't end up wasting Forma, it's just that you had to choose between flexibility and mod drain (or craft another frame), and now it's gonna be real easy to achieve both (at a plat premium though).

You will not be just replacing every slot with them, the only point for them is to replace 1-2 slots on each frame or weapon for when you have multiple builds with conflicting polarities. Even in those situations you are still going to share the same polarities for most of the slots

No idea, probably put them on the frames that have various builds that need a lot of different mods that are incompatible on different loadouts, like Valkyr.

Honestly, probably my Volt first, as much as I don't play as him very often.

Setting him up with Inaros' Dessicate along with a bunch of augments basically turn him into a summoner class with angry electric cats, and it has a significant difference enough of how I'd normally play him that the polarity variety would help.

To be honest though, there aren't many frames where that sort of variability in terms of setups are really needed. Having the option is nice, but I can't see it being required for very many frames' mod setups.

I'll be using them on my flex slots where I put 2nd augments so that I can replace them with more base stat mods if need be

Pretty much every Eximus slot and any frame with extra loadouts, preferably those who mix up augments and hemlinths.

This is why I have 2 Acceltra, 2 Mesa, 2 Titania. All forma different from one another.

Now, if only they would let us save Archon shards in different configs.
Until then, I will still keep 2 of everything that I over build.
10 omnis on each favorite and a couple of them on workhorse frames.
I can think of a lot of weapons to use them on which have good base stats for crit, status, and hybrid builds, but usually need to be pigeonholed into just one of these.

I have a Balefire Charger on Hildryn that has three loadouts for different elements. For some damn reason, Cold mods are Vazarin instead of Naramon so I've been trying to figure out what to do since I have every other slot formaed already. Thank you devs.
Volt is the only frame I have where I felt that alternate builds (Speed vs. Discharge) differed in mods so significantly that their required polarities were incompatible. For every other frame, leaving one or two slots unpolarised is enough flexibility.

My builds are already set, I don't think I'll know what to use them on until I see it
I'm personally going to prioritise my main frames that I have diverse builds for that don't all line up polarity wise (Frost, Voruna, Wisp) I'll then do a case by case and the most likely mod slot to get one would be the exilus for pretty much every frame.

Volt sounds great actually, so many setups for him. Saryn, Mirage and Nova would also be great frames for the same reason imo.

I'm running into that issue with shards too, yeah :( more config slots on a frame would be neat too

For most cases probably not but I do like the idea of sinking 450/500 plat into a frame for the ultimate convenience/maximisation of many builds with different polarities.
