I would suggest watching videoes on Youtube or using the calculator at overframe.gg , so you don't keep wasting forma.
Yep which means the only choice (in terms of polarity) for a max investment player is how many Omni slots they give up for Umbral slots, if any. Probably best to leave those as blank unless it's an absolute max investment Archon thingy.
Don't get me wrong I don't end up wasting Forma, it's just that you had to choose between flexibility and mod drain (or craft another frame), and now it's gonna be real easy to achieve both (at a plat premium though).
Setting him up with Inaros' Dessicate along with a bunch of augments basically turn him into a summoner class with angry electric cats, and it has a significant difference enough of how I'd normally play him that the polarity variety would help.
To be honest though, there aren't many frames where that sort of variability in terms of setups are really needed. Having the option is nice, but I can't see it being required for very many frames' mod setups.
Now, if only they would let us save Archon shards in different configs.
Until then, I will still keep 2 of everything that I over build.
Volt sounds great actually, so many setups for him. Saryn, Mirage and Nova would also be great frames for the same reason imo.
I'm running into that issue with shards too, yeah :( more config slots on a frame would be neat too
For most cases probably not but I do like the idea of sinking 450/500 plat into a frame for the ultimate convenience/maximisation of many builds with different polarities.
