Ok, nice.... care to SHOW IT fully?
Galv steel, melee ele, blood rush, co, 6060 cold+heat, raw elec, berserk fury/quickening+melee influ arcane
Throw in discipline's merit while you're at it
If you wana be edgy go gas elec, or pure elec swapping the 2nd 6060 for weeping wounds
Still... War is just kinda meh by itself.
INFLUENCE:
Stance | Disciple's Merit | ^Melee Influence
*Primed Pressure Point | *Primed Reach | *Galvanized Steel | *Blood Rush
Quickening | *Shocking Touch | Voltaic Strike | Galvanized Elementalist
(You can swap Quickening, Voltaic Strike, or Galv Steel for Weeping Wounds, but I prefer this setup.)
ANIMOSITY:
Stance | Disciple's Merit | ^Melee Animosity
*Primed Pressure Point | *Primed Reach | *Galvanized Steel | *Blood Rush
Quickening | *Primed Fever Strike | Vicious Frost | Amalgam Organ Shatter
Influence builds are the current flavor of the month. They have great AoE and upfront damage. The Animosity build ramps up a little slower but absolutely outpaces the Influence build with red murder-crits from hell once it gets spooled up - Tennokais/Heavy Attacks will typically one-tap acolytes and drop necramechs in 1-3 hits, depending on weapon.
Quickening can be swapped for Berserker Fury or Primed Fury, but the latter will require another forma. If you don't have all the mods, you can use whichever version of them you have available, obviously.
Feel free to try them both(again, they use the same polarity). Experiment; change things to your preference; have fun.
and IF we assume that you have a riven in hand, what effects could be used to improve those builds and what mod do you replace with it?
One of the Elementals or Attack speed would be the most likely replacement to roll for. Critical Damage and/or Status Chance would be good side rolls(both stats are useful for both builds).
Best case scenario would probably be an attack speed near/over 40% with a +Crit Damage or +Status Chance.
Getting a standout elemental mod replacement would likely be a tricky proposition at that disposition.
So then if I get that speed/crit/status what mod would be replacing then? quickening?
Blood Rush builds generally build for high crit chance and push it even further with Blood Rush combo to reach deep red crits. Though some don't mind using Galv Steel for a bit more crti damage at the expense of a lower crit chance.
Arcane Duplicate builds generally aim for around 80-110% crit chance so you constantly land double hits. You don't want to hit orange or higher crits with it as the arcane won't trigger then. Basically multishot for melee.
If you use your melee a lot do the Blood Rush build. If you mainly use guns with the ocassional use of melee stick with Duplicate. Could do both as well since all melees have three config slots by default.
There's also the slam build but since they got rid of spin to win I expect them to do the same for the slam to win at some point as well. Wouldn't hurt to make a build for it though on your used melees.
