Stealth in New War is awful.
I literally get spotted through the wall, why force a poor stealth mechanic into this game? I have been enjoying the most of the quest, but this buggy stealth part is completely ruining the quest for me. Just makes me wanna drop the quest completely.

Not only do they spot you from 3 miles away, they also camp the stairs and then can nuke you through the wall with their beam. This whole section makes PAYDAY2 stealth look like a masterpiece.

yeah the entire first half of the new war quest in my opinion was awful. Great scenes all around but the first half of the actual gameplay was awful ngl

I did like the second half though because it felt more like actual warframe

Won't say it's implemented well, but it's hardly difficult. Just walk through. In fact most of these areas can just be rushed.

The first half was fun and and good, but the moment i got thrown into this bs, I just lost all of the interest.

That's a problem. The whole game is about pretty much rushing things through and killing everything with ease. This just doesn't fit the game, not the todays game at least. Idc if it was like this a decade ago or so, it's not the same anymore.

I'm genuinely curious what you found grievous about Payday 2's stealth? I've played my share of stealth games (Thief 1&2, System Shock, Dishonored, Metal Gear 1,2,3,PP, Vampire the Masquerade, Deus Ex (not the new ones). Payday 2 falls in the middle of the pack for me.

(not trolling, just curious on your perspective)

Stealthing in pubs. The deacons in New War have that distinct "I passed that spot 5 seconds ago but suddenly the guard is alerted because for the host I am still here".

All and all in overall I'd say that The New war[warframe.fandom.com] was amongst my favourite quests inside WarFrame and my biggest difficulty wasn't the stealth parts of the missions nor playing as Khal, nor as Veso-R, nor as Tenshin and not even its 'RailCrap' *Errm* Railjack sequences. :steamthis:
Although I purposedly had maximum default pieces upon my RailJack because made a few solo test run missions to also advance in that mode even before heading into that quest so that it wasn't too basic/new for me on how to handle it solo. :winter2019happybulb:

Heck, even the WarFrame that I've used was either one of my Nyx, Khora's or Garuda's. And did it with my Operator using its Cetus' default Amp, which was the hardest part of it all now that I'm assessing it more thoroughly. :baa:
I'm with you I hated this moment in New War, there are guides on YT if you're struggling too much, there are routes you can take I didn't realize at first.
You have been playing the same missions 10 years ago, there is no way this bland Spy mission in New War can be that difficult, don't linger and just walk by immediately the moment they turn around and move.

These Deacons or Mister Fancy Hat as I love to call, are just Grineer Scanner in Spy mission, view them as such, at least have the leniency their detection do not instantly go to full.

Although I must sdmit that getting the NecraMech before it as a mission requirement was helluva more annoying to me when noticed how shorts lived that particular parte was.

I also enjoyed the VeilBreaker quest a lot'.
And I also regret that Angels of Zariman wasn't more solo friendly usually forcing you to bring you top gear, especially if you still hadn't acquired that 2nd Helminth's upgrade part nor advanced your Operator's Amp past the default one (and I'm specifically not referring to Sirocco from the Drifter).

its more like a you problem that a game problem
the only thing you need to do is observe their pattern yes those floating guys rotate the same thing over and over and you can easily get through it without alarming anyone idk why people find this hard just observe and countdown their movement and thats it simple as that as if no one has ever played stealth games or added stealth in their life is basically just a common thing
