Regarding PLATINUM purchase on XBOX Store

Ive bought plat from there, as the site leads to it, but it wont show up, the purchase went through, tried googling an answer, but nothing works, contacted support, they havent answer and its been 24hrs since i asked for help.

On the forum, someone told me to link accounts with xbox, but i have it all linked since the start, i cant find help anywhere on it.

So if i log in on xbox will the plat be there?

So from what I've heard from a buddy, you have to open the game on the xbox, get your plat, and then the plats become available to use for pc.

The problem is that i dont have an xbox, i wont be seeing those plat for a long time i guess

how the hell u buy plat on xbox on pc? shouldnt u be buying it on warframe on steam? open game log in and go to market and find plat it uses ur steam money to buy it

Try launching the game without steam. Put steam on offline mode and launch the game from its folder. Since it'll be native platform, maybe it will load.

Either that or get a used xbox from gamestop or any place that honors returns, get your plat, and return it.

In order to get any packs or platinum you have bought you probably need to run the game on corresponding platform then log in which will automatically claim them on that account. I think this is how it works with every platform, you need to log in first. You can't get Steam stuff on other platforms either before you log in through Steam, or EGS stuff. In fact DE might not even know that you have bought anything before you have logged in with the corresponding platform.

I recommend contacting xbox store support for a refund.

Also this isn't necessarily a Warframe related issue, I believe it has to do with how these platforms and stores work. Platinum is like a DLC code that gets automatically applied when you run the game and log in.

Back in the day i used to play it on xbox, since them ive been buying plat from steam but i got a gift card for xbox and gave it a try buying plat there, lesson learned, wont do it again.

Last thing you can try is get the game on the xbox app for PC and load it from there.

Warframe is not avalable on the app, if anyone is having that problem in the future, the only fix is launching the game on xbox, support explained that if one buys platinum from X platform, they must launch the game trough the same platform.

So yeah, what a mess.
