Trying to understand Pilfering Swarm/Strangledome...
Pilfering Swarm's "100% Chance at additional drops" means a GUARANTEED roll on the Loot Table of any given enemy correctly afflicted by the Tentacles, right? Say I'm going after... Electric Crawlers for Sure Shot, 3% Drop Table Chance. Pilfering Swarm would... add to that? So 103%? Meaning a guaranteed Drop + 3% chance of another drop? Or is it a separate mechanic, where an enemy is affected by Pilfering Swarm, Therefore there is a 100% chance at an additional Loot Table roll. Trying to understand it in general, and also in relation to Nekros since as Desecration is an Ability it's really well laid out and described.

This is separate from what Resource/Mod Drop Boosters do, right? Resource Drop/Mod Drop Chance Boosters double the individual Drop Chances of what they affect?

I'm guaranteeing a Loot Table Roll, but I'm not touching Item Chances. I get a seat at the slot machine, but I'm not affecting the chances therin.
Is this correctly understood?

a guaranteed extra loot roll can most often be nothing or a high chance of it being a Health/Energy Orb or some credits. I play Nekros a lot and its all I'm expecting to have a 54% chance at and anything beyond that is a nice bonus
100% chance additional drops means, something is 3% chance of dropping is now essentially 6% chance, because the enemy that dies gets the loot chance a second time. in general for war frame whenever anything shows as a percentage it is multiplicative not additive. so when they die you have a 100% chance to roll the loot table (containing your 3% drop), then pilfering swarm will give you another 100% chance of rolling the loot table (additional try at 3%). i dont know exact numbers but on a loot table could be a 50% chance of nothing. you could get that nothing twice

Well, it's not the ITEM itself having a 3% Drop, it's a 3% Chance to roll the Table, but that's fine works out. I should have been clearer, regardless yeah sounds about right. Thank you.

if the drop chance is 97% nothing, 3% that_mod_you_want and you kill it in Pilfering Strangledome, it will roll twice, so you can get the mod from the first roll, the second roll, both rolls or nothing.
edit: 100% chance of additional drop is like killing a second enemy of that type, with it's own drop change.

You always have a 100% chance of rolling on the loot table, that's how loot works, but the roll needs to hit that 3% for that item to drop. Pilfering swarm just means you get a second 100% chance to roll on that loot table, hoping that roll hits the 3% chance. If it were nekros instead then you'd still have the 100% chance to roll on the loot table, hoping to hit the 3%, then you'd get a 54% chance per body segment to roll again, which would then need to hit the 3% to get the item to drop.
