Well, it's not the ITEM itself having a 3% Drop, it's a 3% Chance to roll the Table, but that's fine works out. I should have been clearer, regardless yeah sounds about right. Thank you.
edit: 100% chance of additional drop is like killing a second enemy of that type, with it's own drop change.
You always have a 100% chance of rolling on the loot table, that's how loot works, but the roll needs to hit that 3% for that item to drop. Pilfering swarm just means you get a second 100% chance to roll on that loot table, hoping that roll hits the 3% chance. If it were nekros instead then you'd still have the 100% chance to roll on the loot table, hoping to hit the 3%, then you'd get a 54% chance per body segment to roll again, which would then need to hit the 3% to get the item to drop.
