As someone who have bought a prime access pack, you do not have to click claim anywhere nor you have to play every mission and get a pop up

Hence the question mark, because your story lack concrete evidence.

To play Devil's advocate, they could be talking about the new mail alert, which you would get after purchasing a pack.

Yes, you do get that mail, however there is no claim anywhere in mail.

The mail just notified it got added to your account.
