Returning Veteran - Best way to farm up Axi now?
Rotations look like they were changed around compared to years ago. People leave missions after one round, so usual farms like Mot are pointless. You can rarely get them from doing Void Capture, but that isn't reliable. Relic packs give them at about 40% chance per, but means farming up reputation constantly.

So where is the best farm these days?

Disruption mode on Lua.
I concur with above. Apollo Lua gives you Axi relics even on first rotation if you defend all 4 consoles, and the number of consoles required for Axi drop decreases with every round.

Buy the item instead to prevent headaches.
Disruption is the best farm at every tier of relics, since progression of each round is based solely on how fast you activate each console and kill the blinky red guy. Optimally, you would activate several consoles at the same time, as every person should be able to kill a spawned demolyst solo. Every other endless mode has you waiting on some sort of timer, progress meter, or spawn cap.

The one exception might be the new endless capture mode in 1999, but I haven't really checked the drops for that yet.

Axi- Apolo, Lua
Neo- Ur, Uranus
Meso- Olympus, Mars
Lith- Olympus, Mars

Lith is the only relic without a Disruption mission that you can consistently run endurance for. You can game the drop table on Olympus to ensure Lith drops for a couple rounds, but it will eventually flip over to Meso. Still faster than other mission types, taking the loading screens into consideration.

Apollo on Lua, if you have a team it can be done much faster and efficiently. But even in solo it might take you like 2 or 3 minutes to complete one round. Which is still faster than any other method for Axi relics that I'm aware of.

I'd say the only exception is Lith relics. Hepit in the void is the best mission to farm Lith relics. You will get a relic every minute if you bring Titania. The mission can be completed within 30 seconds, on average for me is like 40 or 45 seconds. Wait time for loading and whatnot brings the time to around 1 minute or a little over for every relic. But that's at least 4 relics every 5 minutes. You can also get Aya from that mission.

I found the capture missions to be unreliable as going too fast can trigger the condition of turning the mission into exterminate. Apparently that event is based on the timer. But maybe your RNG has been better than mine.

Besides good info others have already provided, don't forget about relic packs from syndicates or Teshin (only viable if you've reached Steel Path). Of course these do not give guaranteed Axi's like some nodes do but its a good way to stack up relics.

If the mission becomes exterminate I just abort. It's faster to restart than it is to complete the mission at that point. Yeah you waste some time, but not much. Even if you consider the potential switch to exterminate which is quite rare in my experience it's still faster than disruption. I can understand your point though, disruption is more consistent and there is no worry about RNG screwing your over, but I still prefer Hepit over anything else for Lith. But yeah any other relics? Disruption all the way.
I got thousands of the other relics.

I got maybe 15 axi relics.

You can't really farm Axi relics passively like the other 3, so that's probably why. The only real way for that is to spend all your syndicate points on relic packs, which is what I do and I have a nice collection of Axi relics.
Just thought i would put it out there that high level interception also has 100% axi drops on the B and C rotation. This is how i farmed a lot of my axis. Its not as fast as disruption with a good squad but its nice for a change.
people leaving on first rotation has no effect on your farm, also if its non steel path don't expect anyone to ever stay past first

Incorrect. It means there is one less person in the squad, one less person doing things. For some missions it also means fewer spawns which equates to fewer riven slivers, affinity gain, and other resources at higher enemy levels. More importantly, it allows players who are less geared the ability to obtain all those things through the help of other players. A person who leaves after the first rotation is basically preventing a more helpful player from joining. Why even join public groups at that point?

As much as i hate lua disruption, axi's rarely seem to emerge from relic packs.
