Pretty much this. You could feasibly set up a spreadsheet with a list of all the locations at/around each planet on the starchart, but I don't think you can even see all of them until you've revealed adjacent nodes to each, so that's really only useful for when you're banging them out for Steel Path.
Suffice it to say, your best bet is to listen/look for the blue pulsing dots, as those are your not-yet-completed mission nodes.
i completed everything and im now at the beginning on steel path but its really difficult to track where to farm mods in this game some does not even say what planet or place there are at just says like (alien name) or something
if there was a site or something for that or like a guide picture of the star chart that would be great
well i mean trying to farm mods with this system right know is not really working for me i cant even find a place and if want to find a place to farm one mod it takes me like every time 10 min of research on warframe wiki
Also, you can use the Codex to check mod drop locations
but i cant se what mission type it or drop rate numbers from the codex. also like i said some mods dont even have a planet location just a weird alias for something that i dont know what it means
Most people just use the warframe wiki or google to directly look up the things they want. If they don't know the things they want, they tend to consult youtubers (hit or miss) or veterans (equally hit or miss though slightly less).
EG: If I wanted to farm Brief Respite, I'd consult the wiki and see it drops from Orphid Specters. Then I'd go to the orphid specter page to determine their spawn details.
If I want to do it faster, I might consult some videos near our current date.
ohh wait so its better to just focus on a build ? like for farming a mod ? so find the build on overframe for example then search for the mods im missing ? that can be more simple actually
but your right warframe a really bad at making tracking management work its mind boggling for me how new players even can get a grip on how to play this game if you dont have help from a long time player
