"Unknown Account, Please Try Again" & "No Warframe Account linked to this steam"
Hello guys I hope you can help me out on this one.

So, just today I tried to log in my WF acc after being not able to play for 3-4years and after seeing a couple of ads in multiple social media platforms, I kind of wanted to go back and play but all of the sudden when I clicked the "Forgot Password" and I input my email it says "Unknown Account, Please try again" and at the same time I tried to log in using my steam and it says that "no Warframe account linked to this steam".

I have over 1000+ hours of gameplay on my warframe and all of the sudden its gone? I made memories with that game and I can't log in anymore so do you guys have any idea how to get my account back?

Thank you for spending your precious time reading this. Really really appreciate it if there's any advice.

Contact DE, no one here can help you. Make a dummy/new account and explain using their ticketing function be prepared to prove you own said account, ie welcome emails possible plat poofs etc.

If you haven't played for 3-4 years, steam would not have linked the account as this is a new feature within the last year.

This. It's likely happened because of the inactivity on the account, DE locks accounts that have been inactive for over a year IIRC for security purposes (and probably other reasons).

This. It's likely happened because of the inactivity on the account, DE locks accounts that have been inactive for over a year IIRC for security purposes (and probably other reasons).

My god people keep repeating this nonsense lie all the time, DE doesn't lock accounts for inactivity stop spreading disinformation. My account is 10 years old I have been on multiple year hiatus more than once and my account has never been locked deleted suspended or whatever. The only reason they might lock an account is if they suspect it's been compromised aka hacked or stolen.

Read the ToS. DE states that they may lock accounts that are inactive for more than 12 months. It's in the EULA.

Locked account usually show up as "banned" though. Sounds like OP can't find their account at all.
