Omni Forma crafting
At first I thought Omni Forma will be great, but 4 forma, 10 nitain, 24 hrs for 1 semi-universal polarity (cause it doesn't work with umbra mods). Am I crazy or it's not worth it? It's just another band-aid to give more freedom for builds without actual freedom. Pretty costly one.

You're probably not expected to be using it outside of niche cases where you have to swap mods with separate polarities a lot

It's strange to me how Warframe still have these restrictions similar to cheap mobile games. Wait days to craft or plat, limited inventory space or plat, etc. Make a problem, sell a solution. People are used to it, but sometimes it's mind boggling to me. Just to have fun and mess around with builds I need a ton of forma for pretty much everything.
yes, it are restrictions- but DE has to make some money somehow right? :cozyprodman:

Also, while you wait, it´s not like time stands still- you just proceed with everything else or gather stuff to craft, so once the 1. is done, the 2. is already all ready to go.

This shouldn't come as a surprise because omni forma is literally aura forma renamed and with added freedom. Old aura forma bps became omni forma bps. Aura forma has always had so crazy crafting requirements that personally I've just bought them in bundles despite having plenty of bps.

Omni-forma is crazy expensive unless you got a lot of platinum from riven trading. I still use regular forma since they're cheaper and also simpler to craft and their BPs drop quite a lot in fissures. I make sure to craft one forma a day, although I am really slowly getting to hate this timed crafting thing...

Funny you should mention that.

Then don't use it.

See, that wouldn't be much of a problem for me if it wasn't for the fact that the blueprint is a Temporal Archmedia reward and a reward from the 1999 calendar. I would prefer if there was an easier way to acquire the blueprints outside of Arbitration that didn't dilute valuable and limited reward pools.

I guess I also wish they were less common. But I also see the niche use of them, as they would be cheaper than the alternative. Potentially having two different min-maxed builds on one warframe might need different forma, and depending on the amount needed using an omni could be cheaper.

it's not worth it. most players are already used to dumping regular forma into things by the handful, people won't use it much, because it's cheaper to just but it with plat.
they should not be giving these out as bps for eta imo

Just buy them for plat. One or two Omni Formas should allow you to switch your build however you want for most situations.
