Besides, no harm done in having that little Steel Path switch-thingie in the Start Chart. You can stay in regular difficulty for as long as you feel like it.
Zariman Ten Zero missions (those unlocked by the Angels of the Zariman Quest)
Albrecht's Laboratories missions (those unlocked by the Whispers in the Walls Quest)
Höllvania missions (those unlocked by The Hex Quest)
are no longer required in order to gain access to SP missions and Arbitrations.

The stepping stone to Steel Path is Arbitrations. They start at about sortie level, and the currency from them earns you Galvanized mods, which are mostly big upgrades to existing mods, like lots of extra multishot after you get a few kills. Some of them are even new mods that allow greater build variety.
Ok thanks, I will try those too and prepare more. I did a few steel paths on Earth and it was hard. I was also getting whooped by "Mania" and some other creep, whoever they are.
