Protoframes are dissapointing
They look weird, the plot around them is half-baked, they sound so annoying i had to mute them in the settings. Why would people pay for these?!

Don't hate on the Fortnite skins.
They look pretty good with all the pouches and rigging, that's about the only reason for me to buy any of the skins until proto-Rhino comes out.

I am a Saryn main and I couldn't resist Minerva's massive assets.

Warframe's story was always about the characters, never the plot. And that's not counting when it wasn't even about the story.

Didn't you just make another thread about this same thing? I'm having deja vu. Anyway no they don't look weird outside of being partially turned frame, in fact 99 percent of them are hot af (exception Kaya who's too young for me to put that commentary towards).

Nothing about the plot is "half-baked", it all makes sense in the universe.

Its insane to say they sound annoying given the VA talents behind them. They're just the opposite.

While I'm not fond of the idea of playing as them, that's unrelated to them as characters and more the fact I find it weird taking those established characters and pretending they are my personal barbie dolls. Easier to do that with warframes, less so people.
That said, that's your opinion. Just because you believe something doesn't mean other people have to agree with you, and can certainly enjoy something you don't if they wish.
That's life. A subjective opinion on a subject of media and entertainment is all it is, a subjective opinion. Don't treat it as something like because it's YOUR opinion it should mean everyone agrees with you.

To be fair, being "annoyed" by them is a conversation option, given their attitude towards you. Maybe that's the crux of OP's issue? They don't like not being treated as the main character in everyone else's story? I find it interesting and am betting on Kaya being the one to progress the story/situation.

Everyone is the main character in their own story, since it's their life. Life isn't about a solo slog but a team effort, thus your ego needs to be set aside to some degree regardless of if you want it to or not.
Young men seem to have a hard time grasping this concept.

I'm definitely looking to her story along with the rest of the Round Table's considering how they all tie into Origin System things.

Lizzie is in some form tied to Helminth; Minerva & Velimir seem to be setting up for future Neci and ngl I actually like the theory of her ending up being Valkyr's proto; Kaya seeming to be determined to achieve travel from the 1999 pocket-space to Origin branchline even though she calls it time-travel. Ngl I'd kind of hope for Kaya to not succeed just to keep having Hollvania expanded on, but I also wouldn't mind having the protos come to the Origin system fully either. Especially having Eleanor and Aoi roaming my ship territory

All the photo frames are written like slightly exaggerated but mostly real people. I really appreciate the writing. I really don’t like Kaya but, now I understand her as she opens up. ( I agree she could solve the time stream issues and may even save Operator and/or Major from the indifference or at least end the time loop. Though her arc ends on Larunda relay right now.) The other proto frames grew on me. Minerva opened up a little and you see the pain over losing her daughter and learning there is nothing to be done (for now). I happened to know people a lot like her so I’m more sympathetic maybe.

I know I have an initial reaction that I’m seeing in comment sections about them. I never regret giving it time to learn about characters DE writes.

how did you mute them. they are anyoing
they do look weird. blame the art team
Because some folks just like different things, I don't know why you folks keep making these threads. It's super shallow, I don't know how you folks struggle with the idea that other people aren't you.
