I'm killing SP enemies just fine with them. What issues are you having exactly? If you expected them to be like Bramma or Torid Incarnon that's on you.

Not sure how you build them, have you tried Coda Sporothrix. This thing is like a sniper bramma with the augment. Just experiment a little bit with them and you'll find something fun. For example i really like Blast/Corrosive on Coda Sporothrix, if buffed by frame( aka Harrow, Saryn is overkill btw), sniper go BRRR

Even the base Sporothrix was powerful with that aug. The Coda version is just nasty with it. To be fair though most people don't like using snipers so I know many won't use it as a main or even that much.

All of the coda weapons are pretty good, sure the stat buffs are honestly not enough for some of them as the base function is unchanged and the base function sucks but they're not garbage by any means.

All 4 of the ones I've tried have been immaculate. It's a build problem not a weapon problem. Steel Path isn't a problem for coda weapons at all.

Weapons are okish, the problem is that we expected special changes/features for each of them.. not a 5-10% increase in stats. Weapons are not garbage, just pointless.

I only have coda catabolyst so far, and it wrecks everything I point at.
It has a unique augment called critical mutation that really kicks up crits.

Can't speak for the person you quoted but I've used all the ones from the first batch and they all kill Steel Path enemies without any problems.

Since when did steel path become the benchmark for if a weapon is good or not? Pretty much all weapons outside of a few outliers can kill in base steel path.

SP became the benchmark, at least for myself, to show if the weapon can be relied upon. If it struggles to kill even 3 enemies within 10 seconds on it then it's not something you want to have in your kit unless you have something in the other slots to fall back on.

Besides most people play at SP level once they unlock it. No reason to go back since SP gives better drop rates.

yeah not ♥♥♥♥, what I'm saying is that its not difficult to make weapons kill on steel path, just because a weapon can doesn't make it good

I have a good status riven for the Tysis but the Coda version doesn't make it any better, the low damage is not competitive in any way, it's not even double at max. I was hoping for more status and viable altfire.
