a kid thats barely adolescent
temple is literally david bowie as a warframe
She looks like D.Va from overwatch who somehow ended but into battlefield but maybe it's just me.
As for the new warframe... meh
i though Vent kids are bad enough ,now we had Proto Nova that bump over a sweet couple ,i dont know if this is a trend but seems like some people really like kids with annoying personality.
- While I imagined a gruffer more stereotypically serious older commander guy for Frost, Velimir is damn good different.
- I find irony in Saryn's proto being Rusalka's, and this needs to be bolded cause some don't pay attention, adoptive mom. So many thought it was Rusalka and now its her VERY attractive mom (and no I don't mean this is the annoying perv manner but from an objective artistic one, she's gorgeous). While I don't know her ethnicity does give me Romani vibes.
- I'm just baffled at anyone that is surprised that Nova (Kaya) is a teen, cause um yeah have you looked at Nova? Same thing will be the case for Yareli if she gets a proto, cause they're very much teen-coded. I've seen some put her as Filipino, which love that continued diverse casting.
- Flare is just an icon and exactly what I mean by fun looking. I can't wait to get their story cause it gotta be a fun one. Love them being NB and also being compared to the icon that is David Bowie that's just a cherry on top of that cake xD
I'm also really curious about where the story in regards to Rusalka is going to go, because ngl I'd love to save her from the Wally too. But who knows what's in the cards. I'm just happy with having the world expanded on and having these new characters pop up after Rank 4&5 aka getting the True Ending for Hex, I hope goes towards the timeline moving forward to the next major event that serves to further expand the loop. It just makes me excited for more protos and to see the KIM system further expanded with them as a way of doing lore building.
Temple is too simple, its a human head on a Warframe, when you look at Trinity, you see she is transforming into a warframe, that tells a lot when compared to Temple that doesnt do anything, i risk saying it looks like a costume on a dude.
Nova is impressive, she has personality all over, theres story telling through the skin, she reminds me of Jet Set Radio for some reason? One thing i dislike is she being so young, its odd.
Saryn is nice, her design looks cool and i like the boots lol, her boobies are the selling point, gooning frame is real, lets be real now, i love that she is old, but like people said it, Rusalka was a better Saryn, this Minerva is just bait for gooners.
Have you never looked back at 80's rockbands? Like Flare looks very much like them even if its clothing that comes close to Frame skin.
Um have you not looked at Nova? She's always been teen-coded and ol' Al doesn't strike me as caring to avoid injecting a teen, cause they may take to his strain better or whatever he'd say in his defense.
Minerva's selling point is her seemingly being a badass, take-no-♥♥♥♥ type. She's older not old and no Rusalka is not a "better Saryn".
Saryn is Saryn so they had to go with safe bets and since she was the start of the community's paraphilias it's obvious which route they had to take.
Nova only had two options teen or bondage so they've opted for the former.
Temple is a different case, the Warframe was created in 1999 so it's entirely possible that there are narrative justifications for its lack of distinguishing features.
Nova: She alright for me so I'm not complaining.
Saryn: She has those "mommy dommy" vibes going for her.
Frost: Best one out of all 4 of them love the coat and the liquid nitrogen tank he is carrying on his back.
Nova: She cute.
Frost: Damn cool.
Saryn: A bit too simple... maybe. Also I don't like the Fur around the amor pieces on the neck-shoulders, she look like a hairy Mushroom. Just remove the plastic armor.
My big complaint would probably be that these frames are a lot more costumey compared to the Hex. Flare is the most obvious, just being a red haired david bowie head on Temple's body with seemingly no other changes, but Minerva is also like 89% Saryn with her only changes being that she's also wearing fancy dress clothes to match the aesthetic for some reason while Kaya, Velimir, and the Hex have Warframe parts but their own distinct designs and military gear and knicknacks and so on filling out the rest without actually just being "the exact same design but a different material".
There's also in general more of a successful fusion-vibe with the Hex, compare Aoi's arms, where Mag's detailing is growing out of and fused to her flesh, to Kaya, who just straight up has sections of her limbs replaced with Nova's. There's not strictly speaking too much of a difference but it hits the balance a lot better with the Hex.
It already is Warframe. Despite what some like to act like, the game was never solely about the frames nor is it tied to them alone. Its a world and I love every bit of its evolution to bigger than its origin.
