A Frost Support build
I saw a video recently by Tactical Potato, about a particular build for Frost that's very good for team support. It features adding 40k overguard to all teammates quickly, and keeping enemies frozen (and therefore CC'ed).

From the video breakdown, it does work pretty well solo, but functions far better in team play. I've played similarly, though admittedly I didn't think of using Parasitic Armor subsumed on him for the idea.

Primed or Umbral mods are not necessary for this setup, though at the very least you'll need the Icy Avalanche augment. Ideally you'll have that as well as Biting Frost, plus mods for armor and power strength, as Icy Avalanche's overguard boost is increased by both armor and power strength.

As for Archon shards if you have access to them, same basic idea - power strength and armor, unless of course you want to use a shard slot to free up a mod slot, like with a purple shard's Equilibrium effect. In which case, go for it.

I saw this cross my feed today, and as there has been some discussion about support builds in Warframe, it seemed pertinent.

I've been running that build since before they changed Icy Avalanche to give Overguard, it's incredibly good now.

A Furis Incarnon with Winds of Purity and Secondary Fortifier Arcane will help kill off Eximus who are immune to your Avalanche while also healing you and helping build even more Overguard.

Props - good thinking here.

I was having this idea before too. But the change to ancient infested with the protector providing insane amountsvof overguard makes me hessitant. In the circuit you're drowning in eximus and dax with their own overguard and protectors making basic units overguarded.
Frost prime became so damn good with overguard.

I mean, true, but it's worked effectively for me regardless during my testing. Admittedly I haven't tried the Parasitic Armor trick for extra oomph, but the build worked for me quite nicely without it.

For real. It seriously became one of the changes that made him very much competitive with other frames again, which is excellent.
