Affinity bug

since I'm getting 0 attention in region or other ingame chats, and I statistically can't be the single guy in the game that has had this issue exactly this patch, today, now, never before, let it be known that Something, I don't know what, has been substantially nerfing my affinity gains.
I got double boosters, I tried elara+on call, I tried Eso, I tried other sp endless.
I struggle to get even 1 level.
On-call literally gives me 0, not exaggerating, 0 affinity.
Kills give me boost-less, if not even worse gains. I legit struggle to level weapons up to rank 5

I've been leveling stuff just fine last night.
I restarted the game a few times, changed loadouts, etc.
It's...managable, with patience, but kinda BS.

With 7k hours, I'm sure you're aware but I thought I'd mention anyways.

When leveling weapons, remove all other weapons and companions.
Take only the thing you wish to level and it should get to lvl 30 in one or two zones of ESO with booster.
Remove all things even if they are already lvl 30 because they still leech affinity from the item you are trying to level.

I'm having the same issue since this afternoon, everything was fine last night. I wouldn't say I struggle to get 5 levels, but it's MUCH slower than before. I tried multiple things like you did and I'm getting less affinity than expected, even with affinity booster and blessing.

I mean, yes, I do know, i'm legendary +, but that's why I posted this.
I'm getting abysmal amounts of affinity, and I was power leveling just fine last night.

Ok so, it's not common, but it might be happening to others, gotcha.

I actually haven't loged in since I wrote this, maybe things went back to normal after reset or whatever. I will update on it.

yup, same
I'm a solo player, watched/read guides on how to solo rank weaps.
But i'm not getting or barely any xp for them.
Just have affinity go to unranked gear and not the current system.
This game is constantly killing ur vibe with the ridiculous 3-4 day crafting ect.
Gamers wanna game.

I just logged on and went to ESO, it's fixed for me! I can max out a weapon in a single round once again. Yesterday it took me between 3 and 5 rounds.

I'm ok with this, it's not that bad once you get the rythm. Always be building something.
Always have something planned. There is more content than there is probably time to play lmao.

The issue was I came from 1 or half a round of ESO/ 2 minutes in Elara maxing a frame and 3 weapons, to struggling to get 1 level on each. I'm running double affinity boosters.

Anyplace you go for just affinity is a waste of time. Both Hydron and ESO are braindead. At least ESO gives radiant relics, but you're far better off just doing stuff you actually WANT to do. Most missions give enough affinity now that you can max a gun in 1 or 2 missions without boosters. Going to ESO is just wasting your time.

bruh for real ? ESO giving piles of enemy to kill ,with team you level so fast and maybe 2 - 3 stage ? like 6 minutes and fully max weapon or warframe ?

Misleading at best. You can legit rank to 30 up to 5 items at a time with a good ESO squad in a single round with both boosters, sometimes even in half of the first round.
Elara is comparable, kinda tileset dependant, some starting halls are faster than ESO, some slightly slower.
Other methods (that don't include very specific subsumes and interactions) are not even close honestly.

Or sure, I could play random content with unranked stuff, be a liability, and go at the pace of a slug.

I craft gear passively, and grind an entire rank once I know I can, it's legendary ranks, there is no point in not playing optimally and be a pain in the ass for every squad I'm in.

Honestly, you rank to max a full loadout at the first round more often than not.
But yeah, it's a great relic farm. I've actually missed on the vandals from there, so I'll do ESO regardless.

Also, I'm not saying ESO isn't giving affinity. I'm saying using it for affinity is kind of pointless because you can get that everywhere. Loads of missions/areas give boat loads of affinity so you can just play the content you actually want to play and rank your stuff up like that. I personally don't farm for affinity anymore. It's really pointless. Just do a bounty on 1999 and you're golden for instance.
