I hope we either see a Modified Return or just more for other Frames.
There will be more but no modified return for Mag and Frost. They should stay the way DE promised. It would only cause more anger and scares among old and new players.
Pretty sure battlepass items are still exclusive, though time will tell. And even if they did stopped. They are not going to suddenly release the OG Omega skin from Season 1 out of nowhere.
Though maybe when Fortnite somehow die, they would prob go the route of Paragon.
The article you linked to says the deceased artist left DE in 2016.
Womp womp.
We saw this with Excalibur prime... NO ONE can naturally acquire it. It was a very limited time thing back when the Game released. If you see anyone using it... do whatever they say cause they been around. That Prime is one NO ONE will ever have in their Codex because it's impossible to get anymore.
Same goes for the Mag/Frost Heirloom, which is sad, but that's the way it goes
"Waaaah waaah, people are such entitled kids for disliking a decision a company made, waaaah waah"
You are not important and the fact someone disagrees with your view doesn't mean they are wrong or "entitled". In your own words; Learn to accept it.
That wasn't the point and nature of the conversation I was having with Skeleton.
As is still visible for you and everyone to see, he brought up the death of Mike Brennan as a reason (paraphrasing) "there not being any Heirloom for a while".
I eventually found and pointed out the fact that the Ember Heirloom skin was created by someone other than Mike Brennan, as would certain the upcoming Rhino Heirloom.
In short, the original supposition was incorrect, we are going to continue to get Heirloom skins despite the unfortunate death of Brennan.
