Why cant they bring back Mag and Frost heirloom skins?

They can and without any legal issue, it's just that they're afraid of backlash. They didn't care about the Dante nerf backlash or any other, but this specific one they chose to die on the hill for to protect their public image.

There's so many ways they can twist legally what they meant when "it will never come back" such as that specific bundle, but everyone chooses to ignore that and use the cope that someone will sue them, they will loose all money, shut down and each developer will get hunted down by the Predator from that one movie called Predator.

You'd be surprised, pretty sure most people just know them as "predator". Their real name is some lore stuff you have to research.
Seconded. "Predator" itself is an iconic enough name, only other thing I can think of that fits the context is a Predator missile.

They advertised a bundle with the skins, the signa, plat, 10 year vet title and anything else that came with it as time limited. They never specifically said the skins alone or the individual signas cannot come back, so they could easily go that rout, but they want to protect public image.

The major distinction I see between Dante and the Frost/Mag Heirlooms is that Dante was sold for plat, which they can easily refund, where as the Heirlooms were sold for money directly.

Refunding actual money affects their bank balance, where as refunding plat still technically keeps the money within the game, which does not directly impact the actual company bank accounts.

Also, the whole "they could get around it" argument is valid to a legal extent. They could. But just because they could get away with it legally, doesn't mean it won't damage player trust. Everyone understands the spirit of the promise, which is what they keep.

They have in the past bought back Battle pass items I'm sure. I guess they say that for FOMO so kids will rush to buy the skins.
They have. For fortnite everything has come back except certain specific items.

They're not required to refund the Heirlooms though, especially not after this long.

Also some people bought the Dante bundle with real money. I spent $14 I think on it.

The issue is that will be people demanding a refund if they brought it back, as the fomo was part of the sales pitch for those items.

Did you ask for your $14 back? I'd be interested to find out if they had to refund any real money and or were all of those only plat reimbursements.

Although there were already people here dogpiling DE for not letting them buy Founders stuff just because "it's been so long ago and they can make more money".

They come back but its not the same thing as it was.

That purchase was very different. Only should be re-released if there are extreme money problems and game is on its very last leg. Since that would be the equivalent to the original. Was a pack sold so DE could make the game, should only be sold again for when game NEEDS it. But I doubt a time like that is upon us soon.

Yea, that was more of a thing to support the devs rather than sell the players something. Too bad people these days can't see past their "I want it so it should be available to me NOW".
