Report a translation problem
A lot of people just brush it off and not even think about it- but the Operator/Drifter needs a bond with a "living" being to use Transference on them, it failed with Umbra until the Operator was able to establish a bond with Umbra and ease it's pain. And it failed when the Drifter tried to take over Arthur at the start of 1999. Without the bond- the things the Drifter did during the finale would not be possible.
Poor bastard, removed half of the fun in WF1999 just to keep his meaningless in-game ...virginity?
FYI I've got my Reconifex BEFORE even dating anyone.
