Yeah, I won't lie to you. I don't care about the dating sim in the slightest. They said it was optional but ultimately you have to do it to get to Hex rank 4. Yeah, no thanks lmfao. I'll just let it be & give up on the reconifex. I truly hate dating sims.

Also you can just do bounties and send gifts to make them like you. You don't need to chat with them at all. Also you're a misanthrope

The idea is to interact on a minimal level to change the outcome of the quest, you can still gain chemistry via bounties, but most players will choose to use all 4 available options (bounties, gifts, chatting and birthday) in order to speed up the process.

Dating is something you achieve at the every end, way past the minimun requirements for a good quest completion which is the status "liked" i believe

Dating is optional and even by doing bounties it will be "unlocked", i say this because while the option may appear, you need actual chat messages to fully unlock or lock the romance options

They added a lot of odd things to Warframe but honestly, this is one of the things i dislike the most. Literally what the hell is the point and how does this relate to the rest of the game? Is this supposed to be a forced attempt to make me care?

I'd have more fun getting them killed just so I can go back to the real gameplay. I'm all for the devs "trying" to make interesting characters, but forcing people to interact with them is not going to do it.

I actually got together with Lettie, by accident. Got them all to like me, easy enough, but didn't know, you could only choose one lover.
Ithen broke up with her, since I didn't want her, to hang around the backroom. Not sure If I should bother and reseting them, to try with someone ells, from the Hex

yeah kinda annoying your locked behind npc dialogue for days and the common argument of "just do bounties" because they refuse to read the actual update stating that you can only gain chemistry with one person from one bounty, but lets ignore that and say it counts and a birthday that happens every other week or something like yes very cool or hear me out just let me ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rank up and be done with it :O

It's worth it only for getting Quincy to tell you his sob story trying to make you hate him so you can tell him "thats all you got?". He went offline right away and never talked to me again. 100% worth. Never laughed harder in this game.

Also it's totally optional. You gain chemistry doing bounties. You never need to talk to them to make them like you. Also the having them like/trust you makes perfect sense if you play the finale quest.

I did send gifts to all members, I haven't seen a change from neutral. Massive assumption from not liking a dating sim in my action game, but maybe that's just you projecting.

Even getting them past neutral has been a chore for me, I would just prefer to not participate at all. I also despise the fact that there's delays between their lines as well as artificial typing. It feels forced lol

I haven't even gotten to the finale yet, since you gotta get them to liked first. I agree that it could make sense, but hot damn I do not enjoy the execution of this mechanic. I disliked it enough to make a post about it, even.
