[Solved]. 1999 - is there any way to redo / reset whole conversations?

So I was in the conversation with Eleanor a couple of days back, where we were talking about The Indifference.
I probably should have come back to the conversation another day rather than trying to do the chat when I was already tired, but I misread the tone of the conversation and selected "I'm waiting for you to make up your mind. Do you want to give up, or stand and fight?" (not sure on the exact wording) because I thought that would break the melancholy, but then she basically was like "Is fighting all you can understand? I can't believe we had a single thing in common."

and... I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.

Is there any way to recover from this, or have I permanently shot myself in the foot here?

Edit: Turns out I was worrying over nothing. That one botched conversation was not a permanent setback. :-)

Doesn't matter I think. Just raise chemistry and keep talking to her.

Looks like the answer to my question was already available - I just hadn't scrolled down far enough.

From the wiki:

Starting Over
While it is not possible to retread other response options in conversations, it is possible to reset the Romance & Relationship progression once the 1999 Calendar year rolls over once every 4 real-life weeks.
Choosing to reset the Romance & Relationship System will erase all conversation history and Chemistry ranks with every Hex member. This does not affect standing with the Hex Syndicate or the group chat conversations from Syndicate rank-ups.

Thank goodness - because if there's one thing Drifter is capable of, it's getting a do-over. >.<
I suppose in the meantime I'll learn which other pitfalls to avoid, and treat this as my first iteration of the time-loop. :-)

Edit: I had the dialogue option to confess attraction to her, but when I went to the mall to talk to them in-person I could start dating Amir but not Eleanor. (This is despite me never having bought anyone else gifts, except for her. From this I can assume that dialogue options carry more weight than gifting.)

I'm pretty sure it's just that Arthur and Eleanor have higher chemistry requirements than others to date. I have the option to date everyone except Eleanor and Arthur, despite not really going for anyone in my dialogue choices, but I kept leveling everyone at the same time.

Got to "Close" relationship with Eleanor and I could ask her for date then, so one level later than the other 4.

Update: Turns out, I didn't need to rely on a reset at all - being patient and paying attention to chat worked out just fine; just got the dialogue options to begin dating Eleanor. :-)
