or the Market itself to buy Premium Goods
Not happening.
Developers will have to WORK? Yeah this is a never seen before concept, they are so tired of making a WHOLE 1 warframe and 2 weapons every 3 months.
Suppose they make the market. You'll have to go to a specific place to interact with it, and it will be prone to breaking with any game update. Meanwhile you can access WFM anywhere in the game and it doesn't risk issues from game updates because it's not part of the game. It's a net gain to just use what is already there, for us and the devs.
And I’ll say even more—they don’t just have to, they’re obligated to. I swear, only in Warframe can you seriously see people defending a mechanic that literally hasn’t changed since 2013 and opposing improvements that would benefit a massive number of players. All of this just because filler updates, which are already lackluster, might stop coming out.
DE needs to spend about a year fixing all the unnecessary, bloated, and uninteresting parts of the game: player interaction mechanics, the network system, the interface, Archwing, Necramechs, Railjack, "open-world" locations, old tilesets, the syndicate system, syndicate bounties, and the issue where 90% of weapons are useless junk for the average player, serving only to increase Mastery Rank. And that’s just off the top of my head.
For the game to stop stagnating, as it has been for the past five years, old mechanics need to be reworked, unnecessary content needs to be removed, or it needs to be revamped to make sense. So yes, it’s better if they stop mindlessly expanding the game horizontally and finally start deepening it.
I've seen threads about the need of ingame trading system for like 10+ years already, still nothing changed. Printing mastery fodder works too well i guess.
Unfortunately, it's simple - vets have a lot of valuable stuff stockpiled because they've been too lazy to trade it.
If they start doing so with an Auctionhouse - and why wouldn't they, if it's easy? - then prices crash through the floor on pretty much everything.
Sure, that's great as a buyer if you're around when it happens. But by the same token, if that's the case, why would you ever bother selling anything if you can only get 1p for it?
No, wait...
