Hex Rank 3 --> 4 Problem

Reach 'Liked' with all Hex menbers!

I have chatted, I have done tons of missions. What else do I have to do

Give gifts. At least that's what I did. I spoke to them every day and did a single mission for them every day. That was enough to be liked. Got to Rank 4 yesterday. I even missed out on talking to them the first day I think.

I think it matters what you tell them and what you gift them. I have one person who is now "trusted" while the others are "liked". Last one is "Close". I'm not sure what I did to be more liked with this one person. The only thing I can think of is certain gifts are better than others.

Far as I can tell, you can get Liked without needing to gift them anything. I didn't gift Quincy anything because ♥♥♥♥ him and Arthur anything because I had no idea what "something practical maybe" would be and got Liked with both by just tolerating the former and not really pushing the latter.

Yea you don't need to gift stuff. You don't even need to talk to them. You can just do bounties. It just takes longer that way.

If you talked to them regularly while getting the rep, or gave gifts a few times, or have done bounties for each of them along the way, you likely should have enough chemistry.

Some people are still trying to be sure that it is a real issue or not.

Short checklist before contacting the support team.

Did you use the text system and not just select the various stop talking options?

Did you gift to each of them once? Several times? never?

Have you done bounties for each of them?

If you roughly answer positively to the above questions, then maybe your chemistry is bugged and you might need some help from support. Otherwise, try and complete a bounty with each of them and see if their profile on the KIM changes the first entry.

At least it made it somewhat engaging compared to the usual "log in, dump in standing items, log out" routine.

It gives more info on the story. So that's nice. You don't have to date them, you can just talk to them.

I think you need to get around five affinity increases with each npc to get them to liked. Can be bounty completions, discussions, gifts, anything. Took me two days to get there so it's not a lot.
