that dude prob the only one i hate ,i wish DE making more "Mature" Proto frame character in future ,if there is another proto frame update.
I have a friend who's similar to Quincy, so his character didn't bother me.
Overall, I liked the update as another chapter in the "wtf is entrati doing" questline. The characters themselves worked well for me, offering a more personal connection to a place/quest/update than we usually get. In that regard, it worked well.
It was implied from the Lotus Eaters how the Drifter got to 1999, but it still seemed a bit of out left field, as cool as the scene was.
The idea of re-doing the same event once your trust with them was high enough was a cool idea, and worked well for what it was.
It definitely opens the door to the rest of the frames for Protoframes, though. They could add one for housing decorations, add one for Hollvania pets, add one for any potential EDA-type missions added to 1999... the devs left themselves quite a bit of room to expand here - not only in terms of 1999 content, but additional protoframes as well.
DE basically added a part 2 for the Sanctum Anatomica, and I'm hoping for the same for 1999, and more as well. We shall see, of course.
That said, Railjack seriously needs another look at some point soon. The concept is very cool, but the implementation feels... far more limited than it should be for what it is.
I take my railjack to the current top level content and enemy ships explode just from looking at me (literally; I don't even see damage numbers sometimes, I just get the alert that enemy fighters are halved and I haven't even taken the helm yet). We need Steel Path railjack
Honestly, I think the railjack should just be made an upgrade for the orbiter - let people go on regular missions with it, and give them an optional "Railjack approach" or something to give the mission a railjack-ish prefix, like other Railjack missions are currently.
This would let them integrate it into Steel Path pretty seamlessly as well.
Except for the dude that was probably created solely to capitalize off of metal gear rising revengeance memes. That's the only reason why lmao.
