Warframe
Rushing and how it ruins people experience with this game!
I dunno about you guys, but this really damn bothers me.

RUSHING. The act of having some super high level warframe, go into a low level game, rush through the stage without caring about enemies, only the objective, then get to the end of the level as quickly as possible.

Have you guys tried this? I've tried it lots and man, I hate it. As a player that wants to just, enjoy the game and actually play it, this is really annoying. It either means the stage is over before you know it, or you'll end up dying because the guy that rushed through the stage spawned A TON of enemies for you, who didn't keep up, to deal with. Did you go down? Sucks to be you, says the rusher that won't give a damn.

To you guys that does this.. Can you.. Can you play solo? Since you don't plan to cooperate with anyone, anyway? I know, I could do that too, but to some, this is actually quite difficult to solo, if you actually plan to play through the stages, and not just speedrun them.

I'm not looking for a solution or anything. I just really wanted to share this experience, as it really bothers me. I'm cool that you do it, maybe you're a really busy person! But pleeease, don't play with others then! You can't just expect others to keep up!

hence i run a clan that dedicates itself to helping weaker players or even literally just logged in players get into the game enjoy it and not have to deal with BS. hence i like taking my favorite "toy" weapons with me when i do this to slow myself to a crawl. makes the game more enjoyable andf changes the taste of repitition to a different position. which is why i normally produce some of the most absurd mod builds for commonly used frames and take my time in terminus helping players or just let alone sitting down with them and letting them take the forefront while i use oberon to lightly heal them so its not a full on carry.:Excalibur:
with that i say to anyone interested. message me under the alias of Keldamas and ill talk more. im a very level headed guy.:Corpus::Grineer:
Those people just knee-slide through missions :/
Is it really that much of a prominent issue? People rush through tons of games for various reasons all the time, people do speed runs through entire games, see how fast they can complete a level, and in warfame often people rush just to get the level completed or for some missions, to get the end-mission reward like in tower cap missions and the like. There are always going to be players who rush through levels/games and there will always be players who want to play at a slower pace and find just about everything there is in the level.

I personally play both ways it just depends on how i'm feeling at the time, what i'm doing, and the level of the planet i'm on, I take into consideration of the mindset of the other players in the match, but it doesn't stop me from rushing or slowing down, it is annoying when im in the middle of the level and someone reaches the end and all of the sudden theres a one minute timer, that can be annoying but i just ask the person to step off the extraction pad so i can finish what i was doing.

Of coarse you can just play solo or with friends/clan members, but another easy tip is to just politely voice your oppinion to the other person(s) in your game so they hopefully adapt to what your doing, if it doesnt work then you will have to deal with it until the next level. But I personally don't think rushing or going through levels too quickly ruins the game. it's communit, or the game experience. Everyone experiences the game in some sort of way that differs from the next person, it's just the persons playstyle.. and last time i checked warframe facilitates a lot of different playstyles. ^_^ Buuuut that's just my oppinion and just like everyone has their own playstyle, everyone has their own oppinion.

Thing is, I've tried that, and I've never seen anyone actually step off the extraction zone. It's pretty irritating to miss out on mission completion XP because folks couldn't wait an extra 10 or 20 seconds.

I've only seen rude responses to polite requests to slow down a little...or just silence. Region chat is where most of the polite folks I've seen have been.

For sure, people rush the mission for various reasons and I rush the mission all the time but I only rush in solo. There are all sort of problems when you are rushing and leave people behind. The 2 most obvious problems are the fact that you leave your team and slow players behind and secondly the exp are shared so unless you are all together there will be people who wont gain much exp.. It's better to match the team pace whether they rush or not but there are people who ignore that and it's extreme annoying when you are playing with such people.

I can certainly understand both of those posts, and to be honest I did actually forget to write an extra 3 or 4 sentances on how exp is only shared between teamates close to one another and of coarse you are leave teamates behind, so if they get downed they will likely die... not to mention they miss out on resources from enemies you kil- okay so rushing isn't perfect! Lol, unfortunately though there isn't much to be done about people who rush and punishing them wouldn't even be fair as they are just playing the game the way they like.

I do agree though it is annoying and I haven't had an issue of people not listening when I ask them to step off the pad but then again that is just the luck of the draw with who you get matched up with. However, I cannot deny that when you leave people behind they get very different exp payouts than you do if you rush ahead and mow everything down.
need to get my materials!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

There really wasn't any question to this. I just wanted to share my opinion on this and see others opinions.

Ruben, while I'm confused at how you just went from "the usual troll" to suddenly "a guy with a normal opinion", it's nice to hear you're not one of those that go public game with that kind of playstyle.
I'm just glad to see that SOME can be that considerate.

Course really, that was kind of a point I had against the whole "Just play solo Blackie" - Like.. Why should I play solo? Why can't THEY play solo, when they are the ones that obviously don't care much for co-op play? I'm the one that wanna co-op with others, so why should I be forced to play solo.

Here's a actual question. Do you lose something on playing solo? Like, less points or rewards, compared to when you play public.. That would serve as a actual reason to why these "hallway heroes" play on public, and not just in solo.
You gotta keep in mind, sometimes even when i have the game on private and play with friends, randoms do join me....out of nowhere =/

I agree with you as well as I also hate those rushers ... however, I believe many will just tell you "cry moar".
As a rusher myself i see its a problem for the new comers in the game not giving them time too understand the game, but alas, solo is a good way for taking the pace you want. I did it for around 75-100 hours until i was geared and could actually speed run stuff, if you feel like you are running being, spring, slide+slide attack normally boosts you ALOT, hell even on a slow frame you can speed like never before with the right weapon.

There's no benefit to joining a public game and rushing through it, compared to going solo and rushing through it. Either way, you're ignoring everything but the end of the mission.

Who said that i play public hm? Nobody, but people manage too join my private sessions regardless, and no, when you do capture missions there is little worth doing anything else if you actually NEED the mods people drop there then ill take time and kill if not ill just cap then extract as i do in the void. Don't be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and go ''fixing'' my sentences, if i did not give a ''♥♥♥♥'' as you ''fixed'' i would leave my team for dead, which i don't seeing the speed i can rush through (Never play public because i hate randoms especially on survs and def) I take time and revive those that need, now please, go fix someone elses sentence please
Hey now, let's all just calm down.. :P
Almost 500 hours on clock and I still dont rush maps, even if I dislike some of them. IMHO, rushers just spoil the game for others.

Especially players in the mission who are still leveling frames/weapons and now have to deal with the spawns. Its worse when the mission is timed and the rusher just left all the mobs for the unlucky player to deal with. I've been there, and I dont see a reason to push the same experience on others.

A blacklist function really needs to be implemented in this game to allow us to exclude certain people from entering the room. I will have quite the list if they ever get the feature in.

Ever really could figure why people like to split up so much in survival missions when the mobs are conveniently heading towards a certain room, but thats for another topic...

Well, actually,

Could not care less about what you think :) There is a fine line between rushing for finishing the objective and killing and farming outside the range of the squad too earn xp. Oh well, ill just continue rushing and pissing you people off ;) Pleases me so much knowing you guys get butthurt over it

There's you, clearly not giving a ♥♥♥♥ about anyone else. Looks like you don't like it when people make you mad, but you love doing it yourself.

The second half of the message is just a general response, and a fact, as you yourself agree with - that's why you solo, because it's more beneficial to your playstyle.
