Codex scanner not working

I've been playing with it for a while and all i have is problems with it.

It takes 2 scans uses for one scan
unable to zoom to scan (a few times)
after scanning for a whole match stats unchanged and lost of credits (since you spent money on it and gain nothing from it)

Is this an isloated problem or a known problem?

You do know that scanning doesn't give you any other thing thatn just a change in the Codex for whatever enemy's entry it is that you scanned right? The only other thing there is to it is that you get a slight amount of affinity.

Oh really i though it would do something, thanks.

But dont you think that if they have a feature shouldn't it work?

It does work, there's just not a substantial reward unless you like filling out the codex.

I actually have the double scan glitch though. It didn't always do this though, it started after the update for me, or that's at least when I noticed it. It will scan an object once and do the little sound when you scan, but the sound is 2x, and it takes 2 charges, yet only gives you credit for one scan.

At what point did I say anything about it "working" exactly? It does work, and by adding stuff to the codex, which tells you about drops and enemy weaknesses.

Although I haven't used it after U13 since I had pretty much everything, so I haven't experienced the "double scan" glitch myself.

i get the double scan glitch too n sometimes it doesn't register in the codex. it might be a bug
