Message from ???

I recently got a message after doing an assassination on Venus from "???" it said that my actions will have consequences or something like that

I haven't played any missions since since this is pretty much freaking me out
Is this a threat? Should I be worried?

It is a "threat" but ... you need not to worry: we all get that "threat" eventually because we all will eventually take that mission ... and what the "consequences" are? ... I am not sure, but by the time they happen ... I am sure you will be strong enough to take care them.

It just means when you do a mission in the future and the lights begin to flicker you may have a stalker after you, you will know because a message will pop up during your mission after the lights flicker the first few times. If they flicker and you don't get a message then the stalker isn't after you. They will kill you very quickly so make sure you keep strong friends around you until he is defeated, he also can drop a few nice items if you kill him. Just remember that even if a stalker isn't after you he can still kill you for interfering in his affairs so if you intend to attack be prepped with strong weapons. He will look like a Tenno shrouded in darkness.

Also, stalkers seem to inconveniently prey on you while weak, so if you get a new warframe of new weapons he is more likely to attack, the job isn't so life threatening for him that way I suppose...

You only get stalkers send after you for killing bosses too, probably best you're aware of that.

If he kills you or you kill him, the "Mark" disappears, and you can get marked again by killing a boss.
